The craftsmanship was great. Roof was replaced, site was cleaned and multiple emails after the job was received asking is we were satisfied with the work completed.

Freddie arrived promptly at the scheduled time. We discussed my concerns, he inspected the roof, took pictures and advised me of what he saw as potential problems. He advised he would send a proposal. I understand most roofers were out straight due to weather conditions so after a week I did follow up to request the status of the proposal, which I received the following day. Although I didn't hire them, I wouldn't hesitate to in the future.

The owner was one of the smartest people I have ever encountered. His presentation was superb. He explained everything so thoroughly. He was on the job almost the whole time. They came out with a large crew and finished the job. They cleaned up real well. I couldn't have been more pleased.

The crew was very professional from start to finish, including prep to clean up. Took 7 hours, 20 minutes to complete the job. Freddie was available and easy to talk with. Our calls were promptly returned, questions answered.

I love these guys. Freddie came out and spent a fair amount of time looking outside and in the attic, identifying the source of the leak. Gave an estimate and when agreed to, set up a time soon after. The morning of, arrived on time and got to work. The job was estimated to be 1-2 days. However, the roofer stayed on the job site until about 7pm that day to make sure everything was done given that there was a small chance of rain the next day. Would hire again in a hear beat.

Freddy and Gretta, a husband and wife team are true professionals and very nice people. The Golden Group was recommended by my neighbor and I am thankful to him. The team showed up on time and finished the job in eleven hours. They cleaned up the debris and left my yard spotless. They performed all the tasks specified in the contract which included five new skylights. Freddy explained patiently Northborough town building code and how he was going above and beyond it. The Golden group pricing was very competitive (I had three bids) and workmanship was excellent. I highly recommend this outfit (and they cover Massachusetts and neighboring states)

Freddy took the time to explain exactly what the issues were with our roof, told us how payment was going to be managed, and arrived on time with a top notch crew. Great! Freddy was able to find matching shingles even though mine were discontinued several years ago, so that was wonderful. The team on the ground her was on time, professional and polite. They did a great cleanup job at the end. It's poured for hours today, and no sign of a leak, so all is good!

Very well. The workers were very professional. A few plants were trampled but they are reviving. I only found a few names and a few small pieces of roofing debris after they left. It was all done in one day. Very pleased.

I interviewed 5 contractors for this job and selected Golden Group. The work was quick and the quality was excellent. A man named Irving Espinosa came out to do the initial consultation. He was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Roofing jobs are complicated, but he was able to explain it in terms that I could understand. He spent almost an hour with me, explaining how Golden Group would do the work, examined the existing roof and even took sketches of what he felt were trouble areas, which he then reviewed with me in detail. He also mentioned that Golden Group is very focused on customer service, which is not something you hear from contractors very often. He showed me samples of the materials Golden Group uses, including roofing shingles. When I selected one that I liked, he gave me some literature about it as well as a price quote for the entire job right on the spot. I have a shed in my backyard and he asked me if I wanted to include that in the estimate, which I did. The price was very reasonable and was one of the lowest bids I got. Irving handled the sales call in the right way. I dislike high-pressure salespeople, and he did not pressure me at all. You do not have to pressure a customer if you make a good presentation, and Irving understands that. The job went very well. The crew got there very early, stripped off the old roof, and put the new one up, along with the ice / water shield and a protective layer underneath. The whole project was done by mid-afternoon and looks great! The next day they came and picked up the dumpster, and that was pretty much it. Quick and easy! I would highly recommend Golden Group for anyone needing roofing surfaces in Massachusetts.

No review I write up will do justice for how pleasant of an experience I had with Golden Group Construction. Both Freddy and Greta were amazing to work with. From the start they both addressed all my concerns and kept the line of communication open. I will be the first to say that I am very particular when hiring workers to do work for me. I might even go a bit overboard when it comes to vetting work to be done. My wife and I just had our roof redone, so that we could have solar panels put on, and during this process we had around eight quotes done. This may seem excessive, but anyone who has had a replacement roof done will tell you that the cost spectrum is quite large among competing firms. When choosing a contractor, I like to find a balance between price and value, which is essentially value. Golden Group Construction’s value was unbeatable. The price was on the lower spectrum – compared to some very costly firms – but the quality of materials and craftsmanship was not compromised. They even went above and beyond on additions to the scope of work that was not initially agreed upon at no added cost. If you are looking for quality work, quality materials, and a very appealing price – then give Golden Group Construction a call. I would hire them again 10 out of 10 times.

Excellent work! Received 3 other quotes before choosing Golden Group. For price, their quote was in the "middle". When Freddy (the owner) came to my home, he patiently answered all my questions and did not use any high pressure sales tactics or make me listen to a lengthy presentation. When I called to request additional information, the office (Greta) always called me back promptly and provided whatever information I was requesting. Scheduling was prompt and they arrived as promised. They completed the roof in a day and did a great job cleaning up. (I did not find even one nail afterwards.) I am a gardener and had many plants surrounding my home. They did a wonderful job protecting my plants (as Freddy had reassured me). Freddy was on site in the AM before the work began, and then checked in periodically throughout the day to keep me updated on the status of the work. They did a fantastic job, including all new flashing around the chimney as well as adding a "cricket" behind the chimney. I have cats and dogs that I was worried about, but the noise was not nearly as bad as I though it would be, and my animals were just fine being kept in the home. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend Golden Group.

Freddy was absolutely top notch to work with. He spent 45 minutes or so explaining the work that would be done and had samples of the materials that would be used. He answered all my questions in a professional and knowledgeable manner. Freddy and Greta were very prompt in responding to my phone calls or emails. I had three other companies bid on the job and two other quotes that were extremely close but I chose Golden Group because of their reputation and the way they respected me as a potential customer. The work was done as scheduled, on time and on budget. Despite the fact that the plywood decking on the main roof had to be replaced, they still finished the job in one day. The cleanup was fantastic. The work crew was hard working, efficient, friendly and respectful. Freddy came by the next day to inspect the grounds and to make sure that I was satisfied with the work. They did one more sweep of the grounds to make sure all nails were picked up. I wish all contractors were this professional and easy to work with. Freddy and Greta were a pleasure to work with. We knew we needed a new roof but were procrastinating until shingles were blowing off on a windy day in the winter. Freddy came and gave us a quote for a new roof and one for repairing the roof. We had the roof repaired and then scheduled to have a new roof a few months later. The price of the repair was deducted from the new roof cost. The install of the new roof was done in a day and clean up was excellent. We would highly recommend the Golden Group construction company.

Great. Freddie (the owner) spent almost an hour looking at our house and talking to me. He presented good materials, a timeline and a budget range depending on what they found once up on the rook (e.g., cost would vary a bit depending on how many layers of roofing they had to remove). The work crew was on time, set up well to protect the house and yard, were friendly and hardworking, got most of the roof done in a day and were thorough in their clean up. I would definitely hire Freddie and his team again in the future. End result is our new roof looks great!

Absolutely fine. Golden Group was a great company to work with - no hesitations to recommend them. The only thing that was unexpected and increased the cost of the job a bit was that they recommended we put a wood flooring over the entire roof before attaching the new shingles. This is evidently 'code' now (if I'm remembering correctly - it's been a year!) and they didn't realize we didn't have it. But, Freddie took photos of the ripped apart roof to show us what he was talking about and it all made sense.

This is a very professional, responsible, timely company. They were thorough, and completed the job on time. They cleaned the entire yard before they left. Freddy is awesome, knowledgeable, professional, and knows his business.

We can't begin to tell you how happy we are with the job you did on our roof and siding. All your promises were kept. The guys arrived by 7:30, the dumpster right after and by 2 o'clock the roof was done, the yard cleaned and the dumpster gone. Even the concern you took by placing buckets over my small plants.
