"Mario was fantastic, and we will definitely be having him back to do more painting. Mario is meticulous, and performed extensive prep-work prior to any painting: repairing surfaces, caulking all gaps, etc.  And this careful prep work shows wonderfully in the finished product: everything is tight, clean, seamless.  
The rooms look wonderful, and we have gotten numerous complements: clean and precise lines at ceiling, floor and trim, and beautfiul rich, even coats on the walls.  
Mario displayed fantastic attention-to-detail, and a real concern for how the room turns out. In our kitchen, he performed a number of extra tasks (including some light carpentry to replace some molding pieces, caulking some ugly gaps under cabinets) which don't really fall under "painting", but were needed to give the kitchen a finished, polished look. He also suggested that on one wall containing some wood panels, that we do the panels in a darker shade than the walls.  (We had the darker shade anyway, since we were using it in another room.)  There was no need for Mario to do this---if anything, it was more work for him---but it really looks great, and turned what used to be an eyesore into a really nice feature.
In conclusion, Mario is clean, professional, and does excellent work.  Here is careful, and takes the time to make sure it gets done correctly. (He is also great fun to talk with.)  Now we just need to have him paint  the rest of our house!
