"We had a great experience with Juan and Jennifer. They were very flexible and responsive. We renovated our patio in addition to the pool liner and coping. After starting the project we realized the underground piping was leaking and needed to be replaced. . This could have held up the landscapers but Juan came immediately to replace piping and connect it to the filter. We love the liner Jennifer helped us pick out! We look forward to them servicing our pool in the future."

"Fantastic service and a fantastic guy, Steve has completed three major projects for us- all electrical associates with our backyard renovation project, complete wiring of a new room in our house, and the installation of a sub-panel and installation of our Tesla wall mount charger. All work impeccable, on schedule, and extremely courteous of household environment. Steve is the best!"

"AWESOME! Professional, good looking, capable people! We called this company to fix our green pool and replace the current service company. They showed up, rang the bell, we all walked around the house, he looked at the pool and already knew what the problem was....just by looking at it! I wasn't sure, then he disassembled the entire filter and showed us exactly what was wrong in less than 2 minutes. He said "ask me anything you want"; so we both started asking all kinds of questions. He knew them all immediately and with confident understanding. He even told us every pool company that had worked on the system in the last 10 years since the pool was put in. Just by knowing the improper repairs and the color of the glue used (and he was right)!!!!! This is a complicated pool but not to them. They weren't the cheapest but gosh, this guy was good!"

Pool and Spa Servicing FAQs, answered by experts

When your hot tub is not in use, you can keep it at a constant soaking temperature of around 100 degrees Fahrenheit. For extended periods of non-use, you can lower the temperature by about five degrees. This slight decrease makes it easier and quicker to heat back up to a desirable level when you're ready to use it again. Additionally, you might consider lowering the temperature by a couple of degrees during the summer to avoid feeling overheated.

No, you cannot clean your hot tub filters in the dishwasher. While it may seem like a good idea, the dishwasher soap isn’t gentle enough for hot tub filters and can damage them. Gentle cleaning is better when cleaning the hot tub filters and keeping them intact.

The cost to repair a hot tub or spa ranges from about $170 to $550, depending on the repairs needed. Some of the most common hot tub repairs include leaks, clogged filters, and tripped GFCI breakers. If it’s an electrical problem, you should contact a professional hot tub repair service. Don’t DIY electrical repairs on a hot tub, as poorly repaired wiring can make the hot tub a serious electrocution hazard.

Generally, it is more cost-effective and energy-efficient to leave your hot tub on all the time rather than turning it on and off. Reheating a hot tub from a cold temperature consumes a significant amount of energy, so maintaining a constant temperature is usually more economical, especially with frequent use.

For daily or weekly use, it's recommended to keep the water at a constant, reduced temperature, such as between 80 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit, and then increase it to your desired temperature before getting in. If you know you won't be using the hot tub for an extended period, you can lower the temperature to save on energy costs. However, if you use it very infrequently, you can turn it off completely, as long as there is no risk of the water freezing.

Though a hot tub has many benefits, there are a few cons. Mainly, hot tubs require a lot of maintenance. You’ll need to deep clean yours quarterly, test the pH at least once or twice a week, and add sanitizing chemicals once a week. They also have relatively high ongoing costs since you’ll need to pay for electricity and repairs.
