They were very professional. They cleaned up perfectly and left my home spotless. They used booties so they wouldn't track dirt around. They were very considerate.

They had to cut through walls and do some patching. We were really pleased and it was not a huge job. They were ultra professional and unbelievably clean, they cleaned up everything. The patching work they did after they did the walls was looking really great. They did some extra ordinary work on every step of the way. They were really impressive.

The electrician who came was able to install the fan, but could not figure out how to install the included light kit. He tried for several hours (for which we were charged). He claimed that that light kit was not compatible with the fan, and further claimed that he called the manufacturer who confirmed this for him. That evening, I called the manufacturer of the fan and light kit myself, and they told me that the light kit was indeed compatible. I am not an electrician (far from it!) but I read the enclosed instructions, and had the light kit installed in about 15 minutes. I contacted the owner of Gibbons, and he deducted $45 from the $230 invoice. I felt like he should have made a larger price concession given the amount of time wasted by the electrician, however I decided not to fight it and paid the lower invoice amount. I have used Gibbons in the past, and they have been fine, though a bit pricey. While I might use them again, I may try to find a less expensive and more reliable alternative.

Had a little bit of a hard time getting a return call initially- but they were extremely apologetic about it. I have used Gibbons before for other projects, and they are always professional. I love that they put those booties on when entering your house. I would highly recommend them

Aside from forgetting to meet my contractor to show them the job, this firm did very good work for me on a rushed kitchen remodel. The only complaints i got from my contractor were that they didn't center the junction boxes as well as they might have, but otherwise everything worked fine and they offered opinions on how various elements might be worked when things weren't working out well with the fixtures i selected. It was nice to have an electrician who showed up (for the most part) when they said they would, and who didn't charge an arm and leg to do the work. Their price was very fair, and the people i dealt with very professional and courteous.

The technician was very polite and professional and cleaned up thoroughly after the job. The minimum charge was $150 which seems high for what could be a 15 minute visit. I suspect this is typical and at least it is less than what plumbers charge. Overall it was a good experience.

They were terrific. They are the first people I would turn to if I needed some electrical work. I was pleased with their price. The interaction was great. They were on time and did a beautiful job. They charged exactly what they said they were going to. They did a great job.

Adam from Gibbons Electric called when he was on his way, and showed up exactly when he said he would. He covered his shoes so that he wouldn't track dirt in the house and immediately went to work. Upon inspection of the thermostats I had purchased he let me know that they were the wrong ones and that I could either exchange them or have Gibbons purchase them for me. Rather than waste the service call, Adam agreed to install a ceiling fan and two scones I had purchased. He did a great job, cleaned up the work area, and was in and out of the house in an hour and half. I have already called them back to install the correct thermostats. Very happy with their work!

We were very happy with the work performed by Gibbons. The estimator was quite helpful in deciding what exactly needed to be done and provided helpful info on various heating options, etc. The electricians who came out to do the rough, and, later, the finish work were professional, punctual, clean, and communicative. Our renovation was much more difficult than we anticipated and we had multiple headaches along the way -- with everything BUT the electrical work. We certainly appreciate how smoothly things went with Gibbons.

I contacted Gibbons on Monday, and was able to schedule a visit for the next day between 1-3. I got a call at about 1:00 saying that they were on their way. The electrician showed up, I explained the problem, that the lights would sometimes come on and then not work again for long stretches. He took a look and realized that he would need to go buy two new ballasts as they were quite old. He went and got the parts, then returned shortly thereafter. The switch also ended up needing to be replaced. I was very impressed with the professionalism, punctuality, and price of this provider. Would definitely use them again!

great overall experience with Gibbons electric, I originally used them since they had good Yelp ratings. Overall everyone was courteous from the people in the office giving me an estimate to the guys that did the work. They were on time, efficient, explained everything and cleaned up after the job was over. I would highly recommend them and plan on using them for my next project when the time comes.

Overall, the experience went very well. The electricians were very professional and reliable. They came in with gloves and boot covers. They told me exactly what they were doing, and performed the job in a quick and efficient manner, then cleaned up nicely. The entire process went smoothly without any complaints. I would absolutely recommend them.

This is the 3rd time we've worked with Gibbons and we have no reason to call anyone else. They typically arrive in 3 days or less to provide a quote and are able to have the work done in less than a week after sending a signed proposal. Their people are pleasant, professional and great to work with.

It started with the estimate - the electrician was on time and very professional. He offered suggestions on lighting types and fixtures. I received a written estimate and scheduled the work. Tthe two electricians who performed the work arrived on time and were professional. They worked efficiently, each taking on specific projects and cleaning up after themselves as they went along. The costs were exactly as estimated and the work itself took a bit less time than anticipated.

Good experience from start to finish, even though it ended up costing more than the estimate. The person that came to do the estimate was great at giving me several options at different price points (and varying levels of damage to the walls) to fix several of my electrical issues. The 2 men who arrived to do the work (Ha was one of them) were prompt and professional. In the course of doing the requested work, they stumbled across other instances of improper wiring that they were obligated to fix in order to bring it up to code (hence final total being more than the estimate). Some of their work tripped an outlet powering the washer that was not discovered until I moved in. Since I couldn't reach it, they sent someone out who was able to fix it in 15 min. Originally they billed me $150 for this, but when I explained the situation, they waived the charge.

They showed up on time, worked competently, and the job cost exactly what I was told it would cost.

I was very pleased. Two electricians came and moved a ceiling fan from the center of the room to a position closer to the bed. After some discussion about what to do with the original location, they wired it so we can install a small ceiling light there later, and covered it with a blank plate. They were pleasant to deal with, they put down drop cloths and cleaned up after themselves. I'd been nervous because they didn't come by first to do an estimate, just made an oral estimate over the phone that it shouldn't take more than an hour or two, but it was fine -- it took just under 1 1/2 hours.

They came to give us an estimate and did not go over the budget that they forecasted. Gibbons electricians, Rob and Adam, were fantastic - prompt and easy to deal with. They walked us through the decision process so that we were involved in the final work. The workmanship was fantastic and they thoroughly cleaned up after the installations. They went above and beyond by helping with hooking up the stereo and tv system when they were done with their work. We will recommend Gibbons to others and use them in the future!

Having had a good experience with Gibbon's before, I called them about replacing a fan in my tenant's bathroom. I said specifically on the phone that it was reachable without a ladder via a simple thumbscrew. I also told the person that the problem was not with the electrical circuit but with the fan itself (I had plugged a lamp into the housing). Two men arrived at the appointed time in a very big truck with a very big ladder and a load of tools. Before any work was done, I received a bill for $140 ($70 per guy) for looking at the fan. When I called to question this, Sparrow actually *bellowed*: "Do you know what overhead is?" Upon asking about the overkill of manpower and equipment, he said, "Well, you're smarter than most customers." Later yet reprimanded me for calling at 3PM on a Friday afternoon. I paid the $140.00 (out of sheer terror) but canceled any further work. I found the fan online (2 for $7.00) at HD Supply and installed it myself. Later in the week he had the audacity to threaten me with phone messages that the part had been ordered, the price was about $50.00, and I would have to pay at least a "restocking fee" of 30-plus dollars. I did not respond to that and he finally left me alone. It seems that something has happened in management since I hired them in 2006 or so -- I was very happy with them; they did the electrical work for an entire kitchen-dining-hallway area and they couldn't have been nicer.

Everything went very smoothly. The estimator explained what needed to be done very carefully, and the electricians who did the actual work were very professional. The workspace was left very neat, and the work appeared quite satisfactory.

The woman on the phone did a good job of setting my expectations, talking me through a standard installation and explaining some of the problems that could come up and how that would affect my bottom line. The two young men were scheduled to arrive between 1 and 3. They showed up at 1:15 and were done by 3pm. They were professional and personable; like having a couple of friends over, but friends who really knew what they were doing.

No one showed up during the scheduled time and no one called to cancel the appointment. We were especially disappointed because the last job they did for us went perfectly and were confident that we would have a similar experience this time.

Extremely professional electricians; better than any I have had in the past. I will only use this company in the future.
