I was very pleased with the service that I received from VMA. I purchased an Angie's list "big deal" coupon months ago which was about to expire. Someone by the name of Adriana proactively contacted me to remind me of the coupon that the coupon was about to expire so that I could make use of my purchase. I was subsequently spoke to Victor who listened to my project objectives and recommended some great LED fixtures at everyone's favorite Hardware Store (which I did purchase and it came out better than I expected). He also recommended a hiring a helper as based on the scope of my project which would provide some cost savings. Both electricians worked efficiently and between two different rooms when available which I appreciated because that helped my bottom line which matters to me and I suspect most potential customers. Overall, I had a good experience based on my 3 contact points with the company. Oh by the way, yes, the electricians were professional and on time too (even at 7:30am in the morning).

We bought a deal for 2 hours of electrical service. They reached out to me to schedule an appointment, seeing I had purchased the deal. I thought this was very helpful because I was able to talk to the electrician and explain what I wanted done. He explained the pricing of the deal so there weren't any surprises day of since the work I wanted done would most likely exceed the 2 hours I had purchased.

These guys were the best. The arrived on time and were very professional and friendly. They did the work with care and cleaned up afterward. It was like having a member of the family doing the work. I would hire them again for sure.

Wonderful employee who struggled to get here in the snowstorm, and had to deal with a driveway that wasn't yet plowed. There was a modest travel fee charged and I was told about this when I booked the appointment. This should be stated on the original offer.

I purchased 2 hours of electrical service for $99. I was charged $50. for travel--I was the second job of the day--I was called when they finished the first job--about 5 minutes away.--$10. per minute! Two men arrived--installed 2 outlets--near existing outlets and they connected a cable wire to an existing cable box. I was charged an addition $90. for the additional technician-- Going forward--I will use local companies where I know what I will be charged.

The boys showed up ontime and were very professional. They took the time to go over the work that was needed and explained any extra cost that may occur. They used protective covers on their boots when walking through my house. They were able to complete the work and also, I while they were onsite, I had them re-wire the basement lights. All the work was excellent and neat. I would re-hire them again.

I initially contacted them because I wanted a motion sensor light installed for my back porch. They informed me that they do not do work after 3:30 in the afternoon. We called back a couple of months later to try to get the work done again, which took 3 or 4 calls to get ahold of them again. They then informed me that it would take 2 men to do the work and that there would be a travel fee. Too much trouble, contacted Angie's List for a refund.

The work that VMA did was, in one word, exceptional. Victor and an associate came over for a first estimate and walk thru on a couple of things we wanted to do. They gave me an estimate on the work the same day, that was dead on. On the agreed date, one of the electricians came over while we were away, and installed everything the way it was discussed with Victor. There were no signs that they were ever there, aside from having the system the way we wanted it. Victor called me midway through the job to walk me through some options that had to do with structural findings the electrician was running into. We were extremely pleased with the way things were done. We will definitely be using VMA Electrical again for future work. The roof wire sensor installation and discussing some floodlight options and concerns in the office are next on the list! :)

VMA was excellent to work with from beginning to end. Victor came out to our house and met with us to go over the work we needed to get done. He was very knowledgeable, made a number of great suggestions and got us a within a business day. The quote we received was very fair and we booked the job. On the day of the job Victor and 2 of his employees arrived promptly at our house as scheduled and got to work. From start to finish they were very professional, courteous and hard-working. We have a 4 month old baby and they made every effort to keep the noise to minimum so they wouldn't disturb our son during nap time. The work came out great and I would definitely use VMA for future projects.

I purchased a "Deal" to have an electrical socket installed in my hallway. When I contacted the electrician I was told there is an additional $50 fee for travel which was not detailoed in the "Deal". I tolkd the representative that I wanted an electrical outlet installed. When he arrrived he told me that was a two man job so he could not do it. I had to use the deal to install thermostats instead. I had no problem with the work. Justy wish things were more clear up front. Installing an outlet was an example of the typical work you could have done with this "Deal" that's why I bought it. For this reason I don't think I would purchase another "Deal".

I initially had some trouble scheduling due to high volume to this deal. I purchased this deal because I needed a few light fixtures installed. Two guys came out: one was a technician and the other, his assistant. It took them the full 2 hours to hang the three lights. When they were finished, they handed me a bill for over $120 that I still had to pay. Part of the charge was a $55 base charge and a second charge for the assistant. When I questioned this, he called the owner and I spoke with him. He told me that when I scheduled the appointment, the receptionist would have told be about the $55 service call and the fee for the assistant, which is false because I would not have purchased the deal if that was the case. I went forward and tried to dispute the $55 service call. He gave me the option of not paying it, but along with it an explanation of the cost of operation and gas to get to the appointment.

The ceiling light installation done by Victor's crew went great. They showed up on time - Victor even suggested an apprentice to save me some money which was great. The lights look great, nice and clean job. I would definitely recommend him for future electrical work and would definitely hire in the future for any electrical work.

My experience with Victor and VMA was fantastic. They installed/relocated 3 chandeliers in my home, including one that had a 15' ceiling. They were courteous, professional, and did great work. I highly recommend them!

I recommend VMA Electric enthusiastically and without reservation. I bought an Angie's List Big Deal for two hours of electrical work by VMA Electric, hoping that I could get one or maybe two small projects completed. Victor from VMA arrived after having his office notify me of a slight delay in his arrival time - no big deal, a few minutes, and I appreciated getting the heads-up. He looked over the first job I had on my list and finished in quite rapidly, but not in haste - everything he did was methodical and neat, he just did it quickly. We went on to the second job, same thing. Third job, same. Amazingly, we still hadn't used up the two hours and Victor asked if there was anything else. There was, and he got it done. You expect an electrician to keep safety and function in mind, and I have complete confidence in Victor on that score, but not all of them are equally concerned with aesthetics and neatness. Victor had good suggestions about the orientation of the overhead fixture and the placement of the electrical box and took great pains to prepare the area he was working in to minimize debris, and he made sure the work areas were clean before he left. I've had a lot of experience with electrical contractors over the years, and I've never been as impressed as I was with VMA. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that I will use VMA for whatever electrical work I need in the future.

We have used VMA twice for electrical jobs - both times we have been very pleased with the workmanship and quality of the services performed. In both instances they cleaned up after themselves.

I was happy to buy the Angie's List deal of 2 hours of electrical work for $99. When I called to schedule my appointment, I was disappointed, to hear that there as a fixed $55 charge for travel, etc. just to make the appointment. The electrician who showed up was very professional. Did the job quickly and cleaned up after his work. I would definitely use them on future projects. I paid at the time of service and promptly received a copy of the invoice by email, and then 2 more times over the next week, so they probably need to work on their back office processes.

I arranged for this service (2 hours of work) through Angie's List. I had several small jobs. The electrician prioritized the list and accomplished a great deal within the allowed time. I will have them back for future jobs.

Excellent. The office scheduled the visit easily and the electrician arrived on time, despite the poor weather. He assessed what we needed, bought materials, came back and did the work with a high degree of professionalism and courtesy. He honored the Angie's List coupon and itemized the invoice. Will definitely call again.

We are new home owners and needed to hire an electrician to put in an outlet for an electric dryer and a cable outlet in an upstairs bedroom. We called one electrician who quoted us $750 dollars to do these two items. I called VMA to get a second quote, and they gave me a flat rate for an electrician plus materials. They had great reviews on Angie's List, so we gave them a shot, and they fit us in SO quickly! Their customer service was phenomenal, and the electrician was super professional and friendly. We ended up paying HALF of what the other guy had quoted. We will definitely be using VMA for future electrical work!!!

They were excellent. The electrician that came out was very knowledgeable and very quick. I will have them do all my electrical work from now on.

After I bought the package I called to schedule the time and then the guy told me on the phone that they charged another $50 to come out and then the cost of the parts to replace anything would be added on to the fee. I agreed because it would've probably cost me more, however this $50 to drive out I think should have been mentioned clearly in the promotion. That was my only complaint, but otherwise I thought the guy was very professional and very nice. He did a lot actually in two hours. We just bought our house last summer and we had some things that came up during the inspection with the electric work in our house. I wanted him to look through it and he actually read the report that had the issues listed and he fixed some of them and others he told me that I didn't need to address at this time, so I thought that was very honest and I appreciated that. Our biggest concern was that our electrical boxes were made by a company that's now out of business because of a safety feature and they don't shutoff on their own. He told me since the sub-panels has an auto shutoff already on them I didn't need to replace them and that we already have a backup safety and they haven't been an issue at all. In the living room we wanted to install sconces over the fireplace and I actually wanted to have an overhead light with a fan and he told me that wasn't a good idea because the ceiling was low which was actually a very good suggestion, so he gave me a cost on that and how much time that would take. It was well worth it. The guy who came out was named Dave and we were very pleased with him. We were able to schedule a time for them to come and they showed up right on time.
