Very well. Tim and Matt showed up on time. They were very courteous and pleasant and answered any questions we had before getting to work. They first replaced our broken ceiling fan/light with a new 36" down rod and Hampton Bay 60" ceiling fan. This fan is quite large and was being installed on a very high cathedral ceiling, so it was quite a task. They handled it with no problems at all. They then took care of the dimmer for the DR light. Then it was down to the basement to install the motion detector over the garage. Everything works perfectly and look beautiful. Tim and Matt were done in about 4 hours. They cleaned up after themselves and took the broken fan, etc. and the packaging from the new items with them so we didn't have to deal with disposing of everything. We will hire VMA Electric again in a heartbeat, and will request Tim and Matt as the electricians if they are available. We were very pleased with them and the work they did!

We're professional and did a great job. Initially didn't come with the proper ladder but had one dropped off. Price ended up being LESS than initially quoted.

It was well explained to me my options and the best way to do it. I got light fixture from Turkey and the were very complicated and an annoying job to do, but they found a way to do it and they work really hard finding parts so that the installation could be done in the right way. They were very clean and on time

They did an excellent job. I am satisfied with their work. 1)they arrived on time 2)Estimation time is precise. 3)Never have issues on inspection in different towns. I've worked with them for several projects and will do more with them.

They found some loose connections from work that a previous electrician had done. They corrected these problems in a timely fashion and at a reasonable cost. This is the third time I have used them and they have always done a good job.

Overall, we had a great experience with VMA Electric. It all began with scheduling the initial free assessment. The front office coordinator, Lorrayne, was very professional and easy to work with. The electrician they sent over (Tom) to do the walk through was very thoughtful and did a good job listening to what we wanted done and didn't try to push any other services on us. His quote was fair and accurately reflected what we wanted to have done. When it came time to do the work of re-routing the A/C condensers, the VMA crew that came were EXTREMELY great to work with. They did a very thorough and professional job. We were impressed enough that we wanted to have them come back to install our new outdoor lighting. VMA sent a completely different crew from the first job. However, they were just as friendly and professional as the first one. We couldn't be happier with their work! I would definitely continue using them.

It was an excellent service experience starting with the arranging of the service visit over the phone (I liked that I was told the names of the technicians who would be coming) to the on time arrival and professional and courteous on site visit. I would certainly use VMA in the future for any electrical work I need done.

Excellent!! It was very easy to schedule the service. Two-man crew came on time for the job. They are polite, professional and efficient. They planned the location of lighting together with me, and explained to me all the pros and cons. The job was done in high quality, and the room was cleaned up too. Great job from beginning to end! Will highly recommend, and will definitely hire again.

They were extremely professional and friendly. They weren't even fazed by the lack of parking with street cleaning. We are happy with the result and plan on calling them for our next project!

VMA Electrical is very easy to work with. I had a quote from my AC installation company for the wiring and it was so expensive. But I also had no time to properly request estimates from multiple electricians to compare prices. Time was working against me. Without much hope, I searched on Angie and found VMA. I called them on a Friday afternoon close to 4pm and they said they could arrange someone to come over the next Monday at 9am to do an estimate. The project manager Tom arrived on time and did a thorough walk-through. They turned around with a reasonably competitive price within the same day. The installation team was also very efficient and professional. I would definitely use them for future projects and services.

VMA was punctual, professional, and reasonably priced. Their crew was considerate and did a great job. Will definitely hire them again.

We've used these guys a few times over the last 6 months ranging from large $4K+ jobs to emergency repairs and it is always a best in class experience within the "home maintenance" space. This feels like a larger operation as they've got full time people back at the office coordinating schedules, answering questions, etc which is really something I prefer. I don't enjoy calling a service provider and getting routed to a mobile number of someone who is focused on another's job. Another thing that really stood out and is that this seems like a progressive firm who can handle and suggest the latest technology as part of the solution. Highly suggest you give them a call if you need electrical, home automation, or related services.

I called VMA electric, and they were able to get somebody to my house not only same-day, but within three hours of my call. The folks arrived, and were very professional and courteous. They even took off their shoes immediately on entering the house (without my having to ask)! The two folks who arrived proceeded to methodically check all related rooms, outlets and lights. They checked the breaker panel. After a while, the issue turned out to have been faulty wiring in a ceiling light (which I never would have thought to check). They fixed the ceiling light wiring, and my whole house is back online! The whole thing took less than an hour, which was good because it gets (more) expensive beyond an hour. I was very pleased with the whole interaction.

We were very impressed with the electricians professionalism and expertise. My husband asked him about some other electrical concerns in the house and felt that he was very knowledgeable and helpful. We have used VMA Electric previously and will use them again.

When researching electricians for a fairly large updating/clean-up electrical job in my 1921 home, I had read reviews that VMA was pricey, but worth it. I got quotes from 3 electricians and theirs was the highest, but I am very glad that I went with them and am currently booking them for another electrical project. They completed a large scope of work in about 3.5 days. They were punctual and communicative. I added a couple items to the project even after they arrived to the job, and they were completed without issue. I am so pleased with the lighting that was wired in my living room and hallway, this greatly improved the functionality in my home. We gained great peace of mind from these improvements in the safety, efficiency, and function of the wiring in our home.

This was an especially tricky job because this is an 1848 farmhouse and the wiring in the ceiling was old and out-of-date. Did an awesome job. Had a little time left over, so they replaced a small round recessed light in the guest bedroom! Everyone was so professional and nice.

As always, these guys are top notch. Booking the work was easy. They arrived on time and completed the work swiftly. The job was A++++. And the prices are much more than fair. These guys are my first and only stop for all my electrical work.

Job went very smoothly. Someone was able to come the day after I called to give an estimate. We were able to schedule the work right away. VMA was very helpful--they put us in touch with another customer who had had similar work done to discuss the quality of the workmanship, and whether that customer was pleased with the color (warm vs cool) and brightness of the light--we had the same product installed and we're very happy. Electricians were polite, efficient, and cleaned up after the installation.

Technicians were on time, courteous and took their shoes off (It is winter here.) to work in the house. Very professional and wasted no time. I have more work to do and would happily call them again. I don't know if the rates are competitive but the quality and professionalism are worth the price.

I had lost heat and yet had hot water that was too hot. My heating company couldn't fix the problem and asked me to have a electrician help. I called VMA and they dispatched someone within minutes. It took both the heating company and VMA to resolve the problem but they did so within a few hours and I had heat again and the water temp. returned to normal. I was very impressed!

From beginning to end, we were very happy with this company. By providing photographs and a detailed description, we were able to get an estimate over the phone, and the response time to all of our questions was almost instantaneous. The crew showed up on time, were very prompt, polite, professional, and appeared to know exactly what they were doing. The price seemed very reasonable for the scope of work that they did, and they were able to finish everything when they said they would, even though on the second day there was a snowstorm and they had to work with no power!
