They worked very hard and did exactly what we discussed and got the job completed when he said it would be. It looks great and I am very happy with how it came out. "Sign contract April 4th 2025 was told would take two to three weeks this job was removing pressure treated and replacing with composite material we picked out samples from local building material outlet and showed so-called supervisor what we wanted was told he would be ordering them funny thing where we got the samples all items were in stock at least a week delay items had to be special ordered what we were told another special order for the railings another week delay called or message several times to correct mistakes July 4th is just around the corner job is still not complete"

SSG, or South Shore Gunite Pools, is New England's largest pool builder. We offer building, renovation and maintenance services to residential and commercial clients throughout New England. Headquartered in North Billerica MA, we have been setting the standard for gunite construction and quality swimming pools since 1975. We are shockingly unique in the way that we build, eliminating the uncertainty of relying upon subcontractors and operating with fully in-house employees. This strategy allows us to take full responsibility for our client's projects.

"Hired this company for summer 2019 to open/close and clean weekly. In the month we used SSG, the pool was not cleaned properly once. 25 tiles were damaged mysteriously upon open, there were leaves and dirt left in the pool the entire time and we have not been able to use the pool yet. We expressed our disappointment and gave them more than enough chances to rectify things. They didn't. Pictures attached are from our pool and spa today - after the tech "cleaned" and left a bill for over $200. Absolutely horrible. Terminated contract."

Deck Techs has been established since 1997 on Cape Cod. We provide exterior cleaning using a soft wash system and wash safe products.

"Carl recommended a deep clean at low pressure to get dirt and spores out of the concrete. He was very thorough with this. Had to come back a second day to let the ground absorb the flooding from the washing so he could keep cleaning it. Once dry, he applied a bonding coat to seal the concrete, and over the next few days he applied coats of a Sherwin Williams stain that he has been using for years. It came out beautiful. We had checked Carl's references before hiring him, and talked to several other contractors. We made the right choice. He is an independent, and doesnt have much of an internet presence, but he is worth finding."
