Jason spent several hours walking me through the property while taking copious photos and notes of the property. He was very knowledgeable and detail oriented in his work. He generated a 125 page inspection report that thoroughly documented all areas interior and exterior of the house and in a clear and careful manner highlighted all potential safety and repair issues in the home. I would highly recommend him for anyone looking to have an inspection done the right way!

Jason is one of the worst I have encountered in the home inspection field. He missed the fact that over 75% of my house was knob and tube wiring--and he could have determined that by testing several outlets in the house as well as seen the wiring in the attic (which he inspected). Also, he missed several important cracks in joists that were open and visible. If he were not so lazy, he would have moved some of the open insulation around in the attic and basement and seen the cracks and seen the junction boxes bringing new wiring to the old knob and tube. This guy is the worst and more interested in getting the sale closed for the seller than protection the buyer. Never hire this guy.

Jason was awesome! He was very thorough and explained things to me as he went along. Being a first time home buyer this was very helpful. He was on time (early in fact) very professional and knew what he was talking about. I would highly recommend him, it was worth every penny!

He did excellent home inspection

Jason is a phenomenal home inspector. He is professional, thorough, extremely knowledgeable, and patient. First, Jason arrived 30 minutes prior to the home inspection to visually inspect outside of the home and take photos. We know this because our agent informed us that he was there before she arrived! When we arrived, he provided us with an agenda for the inspection. As first time home buyers, he educated us throughout the entire process. He answered all of our questions and we learned a great deal. It is evident that Jason enjoys his profession and we could not have been more satisfied with his work. We certainly intend to recommend him to anyone interested in a thorough, informative home inspection from a professional. A+

Jason came to a remote part of the state (others had refused travel that far!) He is warm and accommodating and reassuring. He spent a lot of time inspecting every crack in the foundation, the flashing and shingles. We were most impressed with the time he spent in the basement. We have purchased many homes and have used a number of inspectors. . . .Jason is the best. His report is accompanied by pictures; his comments specific to our home (no canned text in his reports). I would highly recommend Jason if you are interested in getting the best!

From the first phone call, Jason was very responsive and professional. He completed a home inspection and the report was really well laid out and organized, and very thorough. He was super helpful and friendly from the first call to the inspection itself. I recommend him highly.

Jason did an incredible job and far exceeded our expectations. As first-time home buyers, we were not too aware of how the whole process works. At every corner, Jason would not only tell us what he was seeing, but would explain how to best fix problems, what a problem means and how it could worsen/improve. He was extremely open and honest with us and was not ever bothered by our questions or comments. He patiently and diligently went through every aspect of the house, inside and out. The home inspection was completely professional, thorough and detailed. Jason was methodical and careful throughout the inspection, checking absolutely everything, leaving no stone unturned. The final report reflected this same level of detail and thoroughness, documenting all the findings with clear text and numerous photographs to explain them. Working with Jason was an absolute pleasure. Throughout the inspection he not only explained everything he was doing and what he was seeing and what it meant, but he also took the time to explain the house itself - how the various systems worked, details about the construction, what features on the house I needed to be aware of as an owner. After the inspection and delivery of the final report (which was delivered within 24 hours) he was available via both phone and e-mail for follow-up questions. Again, he readily took time to talk, and throughly explain things and provide guidance about the home and the inspection. Given the importance of the home inspection in buying a house , I don't think you could engage a better home inspector than Pheasant Hill Home Inspections and Jason Sobol.

Pheasant Hill took the time to go through every aspect of my condo with me. This wasnt a home inspection, it was a learning experience for me - Pheasant Hill spent the time to tell me about each item that he inspected, made sure that all of my questions were answered, and gave a clear (yet specific) report after the inspection so that everything was documented. I would definitely recommend Pheasant Hill to any of my friends purchasing homes in the future!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience working with Jason Sobol of Pheasant Hill Home Inspections. He has the most wonderful demeanor on the phone and in person, talking through the entire process and explaining everything he is doing during the inspection. He was able to schedule our inspection on short notice and turned around a detailed report very quickly. The work was thorough and accurate. While we didn't have any deal-breaking issues with the house, Jason pointed out several items for us to keep an eye on that we never would have noticed on our own. We ultimately did buy the home and in four months of living here, nothing has come up that he didn't already document. His report has become our long range home improvement to-do list! While Jason is the only home inspector I have ever hired, my realtor was also impressed with his work and now recommends him to her other clients.

The inspector was awesome. He was a nice guy, polite, on time and always returned my phone calls in a timely manner. He inspected the house, inside and outside. During the inspection he took the time to explain what he was looking at, how to maintain and care for it, etc. I felt very safe with him and he gave me a comprehensive and descriptive report which included pictures.

It went great! He arrived early and spent 4.5 hours going top to bottom checking everything. He sent me a link the next day with all of the findings. Very detailed and convenient. Knowledgeable profession with excellent knowledge and social skills, which sometime can be lacking with home inspectors. He even left me a book by Mr. Fixit with overview of home operations, tips and tricks! Very helpful. You cannot go wrong with Jason and Pheasant Hill.
