It was great. They sent someone who cleans spots, that's what he does for a living, I wasn't worried about what he was supposed to be doing. Very good. Spotless.

The two problems were the installation under the refrigerator because they refuse to remove the old floor. They wanted to do it their way and that was not the proper way. They were pretty clean and the workers were very nice. The problem was store policy and not them.

Lowes subcontracts these Pella installations. The sales associate at the Woburn Lowes who assisted us was excellent. He spent alot of time with us explaining the product and process. He then came to our house and measured all of the windows, wrote up the quote and even helped us increase our credit line at Lowe's to cover the cost ! They had a no interest for 12 months program we took advantage of. The subcontracter was then scheduled to come to our home and check the measurements to make sure of the sizes and evaluate the job. He showed up on time and was efficient in his task. He informed us that it would be a two day job with two men. The order was placed and we were given an approximate date for the install (the windows are manufactured to order in Minnesota). When the windows were shipped, Lowes called and gave us the date and time. The crew of two men showed up ON TIME both days and conducted themselves in a professional manner at all times. They were respectful of our property and cleaned up all the debris.

We have shopped at Lowe's in the past and had good experiences. Last year, we worked with them on the replacement of 18 windows in our home (we worked with Lowes in Woburn on that project). A few months ago, I went to Lowes in Woburn for Levelour blinds for two rooms in my home. I paid for the installer to come to the home to measure. He called three days later, and we spoke live, and he said he would be at my home at noon on Saturday. By 1:30 on Saturday, after no installer arrived, I called the store. They said "there is a two-hour window...." Okay. I took a deep breath, and waited another hour. The installer finally showed, with his young daughter in tow. Both were dressed for an afternoon at a soccer game. She wandered around the house with him, measuring windows.....
When I called the store and complained that it was unprofessional and unsettling (we don't want the liability of stranger's kids in our house.....but maybe that's too much to ask), the manager said that I had a legitimate complaint, that it was against store policy for contractors to bring their children on jobs, and that I would receive a 20% discount on the purchase of the blinds. I went to the store to purchase them, and of course, there was no record of a discount. I took a deep breath, paid for the blinds, and then waited three weeks for the blinds to arrive.
When they arrived, I called the store to schedule the installation. I was told that I hadn't paid for it, and that, if I expected some consideration for my troubles, they'd have to check. I was told they would call me back on 11/1/13. Well, today is 11/14/13. I'm done. Goodbye Lowe's.

I would say that our experience with Lowes was very good. They were very friendly and they charged us a fair price. If you go there during a sale, you can get a great deal on appliances. My husband and I just really like Lowes in this area and so we would recommend them for large dollar items.

Lowe's was really good to us. I am happy to say they did a really good job with selling us our appliances. They were really friendly and helpful and we got great deals on what we purchased, so they are where I would continue to buy my larger appliances from in this area. We had a real good experience with them.

WHEN I WENT INTO LOWES KITCHEN DEPT. EARLIER IN THE WEEK, NO ONE SEEMED TO WANT TO MAKE EYE CONTACT. I HAD TO PURSUE THE PEOPLE IN ORDER TO ASK A QUESTION. THEY SAID I HAD TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, WHICH I DID.
