Small jobs welcome

"Very professional company with hard working employees. I hired them to remove a large tree branch that fell after a storm. They came in and used a chain saw and carried and removed all the limbs along with a perfect yard clean up. Great attitude, pleasant and hard working."

Customers say: True professional

"Manolo, came out to my house and gave us a quote for gutters and leaf/fall cleanup of yard. 2hich was initially out of my price range, but fair. I told him this, and he worked with me and my family to where we could afford the services. The price was really a generous, kind hearted thing to do. But it helped my family during a difficult time in our lives. The help he provided and excellent services. Will not be forgotten!! I'd hire him again in a heartbeat. (After he left, I looked around yard. Not a single leaf on grass or anywhere. Gutters were cleaned well, which is what I asked for. If you go with anyone else you'd truly be foolish in my opinion. As there's not to many folks like this nowadays!"

"Starling was polite and kept me well informed and the team was here earlier than expected. However, the team did a subpar job. Fall cleanup usually means; pickup leaves and yard debris and quickly mow the lawn for the winter. All they did was pick up the leaves. Debris from trees and shrubs were just moved to three different piles and left here. Left our yard items (chairs, small table, etc.) in disarray. Needless to say there was no mowing. Yard obviously looks better without a bunch of leaves, but the work was definitely not complete and I had to do half of it anyway. Will not hire again."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

You can paint over lead paint, or “encapsulate” it with a special paint that includes an ingredient called an encapsulant. The EPA approves encapsulation as a lead paint removal method as long as the paint remains undisturbed. Standard types of paint without an “encapsulant” from the big box stores or hardware stores do not meet EPA standards for remediation of lead-based paint.

While not all homes built before 1978 contain lead paint, enough do, so you’ll still want to test to be on the safe side. The federal government banned lead-based paint for homes in 1978, but your state may have banned lead before that time. Around 24% of homes built between 1960 and 1977 contained lead-based paint, while 87% of homes built before 1940 contained lead-based paint.

Professional lead removal involves identifying and safely removing or encapsulating lead-based paints and materials, using specialized equipment, and following strict safety procedures to minimize exposure and contamination.

Lead removal is crucial in older homes to eliminate risks of lead poisoning, which can severely affect health, particularly in children, by impacting development and cognitive functions.

Chlorine has a shelf life of between six months and several years, depending on its type and formulation. Liquid chlorine can often lose its effectiveness in just a few weeks. Pool owners can find themselves with overstock that they need to get rid of. The best way to dispose of excess chlorine is to take it to a hazardous waste collection site and let the pros handle it.
