I had them do a quote consultation and testing for a mold issue and asbestos abatement and they were prompt to make room in their schedule to fit us in and kept every word of their agreements throughout their Process. Chris Coopee did a fantastic job reviewing reports needed plus conducting a physical inspection of the property for mold in order to produce an informed accurate quote. He also is knowledgeable about asbestos abatement and conducted some testing at the site for us. Not only did Chris do a perfect job, but he turned around the ask in a tight timeframe due to our needs related to a real estate closing. Ann at the main Abide office fielded many questions from me throughout the week and was always pleasant and helpful. They rely on subpar subcontractors with no professionalism or craftsmanship. ? Overpromise and underdeliver: I had to stay on top of every detail myself, doing the job the contractor was hired to manage. ? Unreliable: Never kept appointments or confirmed schedules. The only time they showed up on time was to collect payment. ? Unsafe practices: At one point, a subcontractor was cutting concrete inside the bathroom with a gas?powered tool, filling my entire home with smoke. I had to intervene to stop it and argue just to get basic protections like tarps in place. ? Poor management: Subcontractors openly complained about not being paid, and I even had to send one home myself because of unacceptable behavior. ? End result: Substandard work that does not reflect the money spent. Save yourself "
