"Another company told me a control board needed to be replaced. I had Frankinstall come out and they found out the drainage pump was stopped up. He removed the pump and cleaned it up and it works great now. Their bill was only $75 when the others were going to charge over $250. He was polite and courteous. He even mopped the floor after he was done. They called me back to see if I was satisfied. I would highly recommend this company."

Window Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Long-handled telescopic brushes are the best way to clean the outside of a house without a pressure washer. There are even special attachments for cleaning the outside of windows. Use a gentle cleaning solution for both the roof and siding to avoid harming the finishes. Be sure to rinse the area thoroughly with a garden hose after scrubbing.

Yes, but professionals use specialized equipment and cleaning solutions to safely achieve streak-free, long-lasting results.

Cleaning your windows not only improves your home’s curb appeal—and, therefore, property value—but it also prolongs the life of your windows. Clean windows make a big difference from the outside, so if you’re selling your home or plan on selling, window washing is an affordable way to make your home stand out. Additionally, cleaning the tracks and moving components in your window can help them last longer, potentially saving you money over time on window replacement costs and repair.

Unless it’s written into the purchase agreement, there’s no legal obligation that a house you’ve bought has to be clean before you move in. The previous owner is generally required to sweep the house, but that doesn’t guarantee everything will be spotless upon your arrival. If possible, discuss the cleaning requirements with the real estate company before moving in.

Hot water removes grime more efficiently than cold water and evaporates more quickly so that your windows will dry faster. However, you may want to use cold water instead if your windowsill paint is chipping or peeling because heat can worsen this condition.
