"I called six different companies, Ryan was not only the nicest, but seemed to me also most knowledgeable and honest. He was also the least expensive! They constructed the fence before the estimated time frame and did a great job."

"Joshua and his partner Alton did an incredible job of building two custom fit wrought iron gates for my backyard. One of the difficult parts of this job was to connect the gates ( which were very well constructed and heavy) to my existing cinder block wall. They created braces and support systems perfectly to hold the gates. Beautiful custom iron gates."

Welding questions, answered by experts

The best thing to cut metal pipe is a durable pipe cutter that is made for metal. You may want to measure the diameter of the pipes before purchasing a pipe cutter to ensure it will be able to cut your metal pipes. Opt for a heavy-duty option to cut through metal like steel or cast iron.

To maintain custom or fabricated metal structures and extend their lifespan and appearance, perform regular cleaning, apply rust prevention treatments, and use protective coatings.

Yes, you can use a saw to cut metal pipes. The best saw to use is a reciprocating saw, but even a fine-tooth hacksaw can get the job done. No matter which saw you use to cut metal pipes, wear protective gear, like work gloves, safety goggles, and ear plugs. Apply a firm, steady pressure to the tool, and always ensure the pipes are secured so they don't move while you make the cuts.

Costs depend on unit complexity, labor, wall mounting needs, and additional accessories like floating shelves.

Professional metal fabricators typically charge around $70 per hour, but the total cost of your project will depend on several factors. The largest cost drivers are the size, complexity, and design of the project, as well as the price and type of metal used. A good way to estimate the total cost is to multiply the cost of raw materials by four; typically, one-quarter of the total goes toward materials and three-quarters toward labor. Your geographic location can also influence costs, as labor and material prices vary by region.
