To pour a sidewalk, driveway, or patio, you need to form the right mixture of concrete using cement, aggregates, and water. Pouring concrete requires special tools such as a concrete mixer, compactor, screeds, and floats. You can dry pour concrete over existing concrete, but it’s best to use wet pour concrete instead. The average cost to replace concrete depends on the amount of material you need. However, you can expect the cost of replacing a concrete driveway to range from $2,000 to $7,000, or about $15 per square foot.

If you want to install or replace a concrete patio, the cost ranges from $800 to $9,000, depending on the size and exact materials. If you only need a slab, concrete slab costs range from $4 to $8 per square foot, or an average of $5,400.
