Small jobs welcome

"Josh with Emerald Fence, recently completed a repair to one of my fence gates and also did an install of a new fence gate on the other side of my home. His work was professionally performed. He completed the entire job in record time and I am more than satisfied. Also, the price for this job was more than reasonable and I would use him again in the future. I would highly recommend Emerald Fence to anyone considering any fence install or repairs. Thanks Josh!"

Temporarily closed\nMy name is Brett Myers I am 19 years old and a 3rd generation business owner. I have been welding for 5 years and I started this business out of the bed of my truck with a welding machine and generator. I started by welding fence pipe and recruiting my nephew or a buddy who was laid off and needed quick cash to go work on ranches, homes and business's. I left the company alone and started working in shops for the last two years due to not enough business to afford to survive. All jobs are T&M and only taking small simple fabrication jobs for the time being. I hated leaving it behind and now I want to see it grow and flourish to something I never even expected.\nAs a man of faith and my belief the companies moto is this\n”Don’t work only while being watched, as people-pleasers, but as slaves of Christ, doing God’s will from your heart.“\n‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭6‬ ‭CSB‬‬\nI believe god has a great plan for me and everyone on the face of the earth. I’ve been called back into my business and I can’t wait to see where it goes. \n

Gate Repair questions, answered by experts

Thieves can open almost anything with enough time and the right tools, but they also prefer easy targets that are unlikely to get them caught. Forcing open gates is loud and difficult, and to be able to open one electronically requires extensive knowledge of the system, which most thieves don't have. Electric and other security gates are great deterrents because the thief will move to an easier target. If the thief is determined to enter your property, they will most likely find a different entrance point.

You don’t need a permit for an automatic gate in most cities because it isn’t a structural change to your home, but you need to check. A pro can help you with this and since we don’t recommend installing an automatic gate yourself, you should already be in contact with one, making this a frictionless question. Outside of permit requirements, you need to consider your homeowners association (HOA), as some are against gated homes.

While entryways are seldom added to a house to increase the sale price, they are commonly constructed to increase the livability and enjoyment of a home. So, while they aren’t necessary, they do make for a more comfortable and luxurious-feeling home. Entryways are most valuable in areas of extreme heat, cold, or rain, as the space between the living area and the outdoors helps keep the outdoors outside. Plus, snow, wet boots, and mud are all corralled into one space that’s easy to clean.

Yes, driveway gates can help secure your home by deterring burglars from accessing your property. Climbing a gate slows down burglars while also attracting attention to your gate. If you live further down your property and want to increase security, you can also install a gate security camera that connects to your gate and monitors the area for suspicious activity.

The most common cause of gate sensors not working is damaged wiring. Only a professional should diagnose this because it requires working with the system's electronics. There are safety concerns, but more than that, you don't want to accidentally short out your system or cause any electrical damage. Insects, rodents, and fallen branches are common reasons your wiring could become damaged.
