I hired them to paint my kitchen. Let me tell you they did such a amazing job! i would deffently use them again! And they werent bad on price either!
The first day they cleaned the deck and removed the mildew that had built up. They also trimmed a huge Crepe Myrtle Tree that was hanging over the deck. (This was not part of the estimate provided - but they did it anyways.) The crew worked in the rain and cold temperatures all day. The following day (Saturday) as the deck dried, it looked brand new. The crew came back on Monday to start the staining. They hand stained the entire deck, pergola, privacy lattice, railing, pickets and bench in 3 days.
The crew was extremely professional and friendly. At the end of each day, they cleaned up the job area. You wouldn't have known they were working on the deck. They were awesome to work with from start to finish. I would highly recommend using COGAN KIBLER INC for any painting needs.

Half was paid up front for the painting portion of the job. There were some unavoidable delays due to extended periods of unusually cold weather. However, prep and painting of the house's exterior was completed for the most part by mid-April. As is common practice, most removal of old flaking paint was done using a pressure washer. Some broken and chipped asbestos tiles were replaced with the modern equivalent, though several that were cracked had their cracks caulked over rather than the tiles being replaced.
We all know that good prep is critical to the quality of any paint job. There were areas that flaked off and had to be repainted before the job was finished. And today, September 13, 2013, there are areas that have paint flaking off. While the product might be of high enough quality to withstand the elements for a very long time, insufficient prep work is making the investment worth less than I paid. Also, the sample primer and paint that is offered up as "exhibit A" during the sales pitch is much thicker than the coat of primer and paint that are applied, though greater thickness would still do no good without better prep work.
The painter appeared at my house unannounced to start work. I let both Tommy Block and his representative, Corey, know that I needed to know when the painter was coming to that I could provide access to electricity, and when necessary, confine my pets to keep them away from wet paint and painting equipment. The pattern of behavior of the painter and other workmen coming to do work or not coming to do work unannounced was a consistent pattern. There were days when they had no access to electricity, and my dogs were exposed to wet paint.
Most of the work, such as enclosing the 10 x 10 shed, building the patio for the small screened in porch, and replacing the front door were done by carpenters out of Tom Sander's Building Mart in West Monroe. In the written proposal, the front porch was to have been built from composite decking. It was built from treated lumber. While it looked very nice initially, the boards shrank within a few weeks. There are significant gaps between the board, wide enough that I am trying to figure out how to keep "critters" out, as was the intention of having a screened in porch. The porch was screened in by Smith Blind and Awning. The materials are common: aluminum kick plates and framing used for inexpensive construction. They seem to have been well assembled.
The new front door was framed and installed by carpenters from Tom Sander's Building Mart. It was stained and painted by the painter who painted the house. He did a reasonably good job staining a fiberglass door to make it look wood. The carpenters had a difficult time hanging the door in a non-standard opening; however, the door was cut and pre-framed to fit the opening. While the door generally looks nice, it has been difficult to lock the deadbolt since immediately after the door was installed. Tommy Block "fixed" it once in July, but has not followed up on succeeding requests to fix it. During a recent visit to town, my sister refused to use the front door because she found it too difficult to lock. In addition, the door sweep was damage during the door's installation. Tommy Block saw the damaged door sweep himself in July and said he would have it repaired. It has has not been repaired.
During the reconfiguration of the front entrance, walls around doors had to be repainted. Tommy Block expressed dissatisfaction with the texture of the walls where old framing had been. He said the ridges left behind needed to be scraped and sanded to match the adjoining wall. There has been no follow up. The framing where an old door was removed has old hinges that need to be removed and old dead bolt holes that need to be filled in and painted over. Mr. Block insisted that needed to be done and that he would sent the carpenters. That was mid-July. It is mid-September. I have also repeatedly asked for a hard copy of the 'permanent paint" warranty. It, apparently, has been in Mr. Block's truck for many months.
The employees working for Mr. Block were all extremely courteous. Mr. Block and Corey oozed conviction that everything was going to be done to my satisfaction. So, does the house look better than it did? Yes.Does the paint generally look good? Yes. Do I have the screened in patio and closed in shed that I wanted before all this began? Yes. Would I spend the money on "permanent" paint if I knew then what I know now? I seriously doubt it.

Paradise Enterprise has (had?) its own carpenters and electricians. The carpenters and electricians showed up as promised and their work seems to have been of very good quality.
The drywall/paint crew can do a good job when they choose to. Unfortunately, they frequently did not show up when promised, sometimes for days at a time, which delayed other work. And they seem to do the bare minimum in some cases but do very well in others. For example, the staining on the new French doors is beautiful, and though it was a mess to deal with repainting the master bedroom because of things that the previous owner had done, they did an exemplary job. However, in the new bathroom, someone assumed I wanted crown molding, so they were not careful when taping and mudding the joints between the wall and ceiling. They also mixed up the paint colors more than once even though they had a list of the correct paint colors.
The tile work was done by a crew from Bob Moss Carpet One working through Paradise Enterprises. Like the other people on the job, they were all very courteous. The people in the store were very helpful when I was picking out tiles and colors. The work was generally OK. However, they used a few defective tiles in highly visible spots rather than discarding those tiles and did not place tiles well in a couple of corners. I pointed out the problems, but I don't have time to keep riding them to correct something that should have never happened in the first place or to deal with the mess of having it all ripped out and put back in again.
The plumbing fixtures were provided by LCR/Plumbing Warehouse in West Monroe, as recommended by the contractor. Generally, the face-to-face customer service was good while I was in the store and they were very patient with helping me find what I wanted within my price range, but they dropped the ball on getting some of the fixtures to me on time. As a result of their failing to let us know there was a problem, the toilet I had planned on having access to after surgery didn't arrive and get installed. It would have been easy to order something else in its place had I known of the delay. They also failed to order a valve for the shower, and then the wrong one was ordered. In the end, that ended up working to my advantage - the incorrect one was the more expensive fixture, but they did not charge me the higher price.
Plumbing for the bathroom was done by Kelly Plumbing, again contracted by Paradise Enterprises. On the whole, they seem to have done a good job. They handled most of the problems with the plumbing hardware and fixture hiccups, and there was only one minor adjustment required to one of the drainpipes after the job was finished. However, I just recently, I replaced the Kohler toilet with a Toto toilet myself. The Toto works much better (more powerful flush, so no sewer back ups). During the replacement, I discovered that the toilet flange that Kelly Plumbing installed was not attached to the floor (my house is raised). I'm not sure how sound of a plumbing practice that is.
Some of the extra cost over and above the estimate is because I chose to install stained wood cabinets instead of painted cabinets. There were also some problems with getting the cabinets stained evenly. They had to redo it. I also had to get them to sand the cabinets before the second coat of polyurethane - the painters seemed to think it was not necessary despite the rough surface created by the first coat. I also had my kitchen, utility room, and a second bathroom painted while the work was going on. In all, the work took June through November, and I was a good $15,000 over budget. The delays that did occur were because of the drywall/paint crew and the plumbing supply house that failed to notify us of a problem with getting fixtures in.
Bud Crow, the contractor, will provide you with an itemized list of everything that is purchased for the work. You pay for that plus labor plus his 10% mark up. I really should have kept track of the hours of labor. I don't think I was intentionally overcharged for labor by Bud, but it's possible that some of his crew mistakenly reported that they were at work for me when they were working somewhere else instead. A couple of times, items in the list of purchased things were items that were not used on my job, and Bud readily removed them from the charges. It's easy to identify a color of paint or stain or that was not purchased for your remodel, but it can be difficult to know if mud, tape, or nails on an itemized list is for your job or for another person's job.
The one really strong positive about this contractor and his crew - I did not hesitate to leave them alone at my house all day. I had to go to work to make a living myself."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/la/monroe/paradise-enterprises-inc-reviews-5566295.htm"},"position":8}]}

Mr. Richard did a great job! We had removed some lattice from the ceiling in a garden room, and he installed and finished drywall and new crown molding. It was hung, taped/floated, textured and painted from start to finish in 3 days!! Looks great and Iâ m very happy with the work he did!!
The crew showed up at the confirmed time and Mr. Kibler was also there first thing with the crew to make sure that they had all of the materials that were required. He also confirmed how we wanted the deck stained/painted as well as confirmed the color selection before the crew began work. ...

When you’re considering hiring a painter, a quote should include the following items:
Overall price
Price for each area (e.g., living room, master bedroom) or item (e.g., trim, doors)
Cost of labor
Cost of materials
Description of prep
Description of repairs to be made
Description and details of paint application (number of coats, brand and type of paint, etc.)
You may need to provide your own paint, depending on the agreement you make with the painter. Some painters prefer that you buy the paint and they supply the labor. However, some professional painters get a better price on paint and can pass that savings along to you even after accounting for labor costs.
The average cost to paint a ceiling ranges from $3 to $8.50 per square foot, which is about $1 to $2.50 more per square foot than the cost to paint the walls. Rooms with high ceilings require working from a ladder or scaffolding and often include trim or detail work, which adds to the final price.
Professional painters charge $20 to $50 per hour, on average. Hourly rate cost factors include the complexity of the paint job, the type of paint, the height of the walls and ceiling, and the type of prep and repairs needed. For example, removing wallpaper costs an additional $3 per square foot because it can be very time consuming and labor intensive. Your location will also impact the hour rate.
To estimate the cost to paint interior walls, multiply the square footage by the average price range to paint interior walls, which is $2 to $6 per square foot. For example, a 12-by-12-foot room with 8-foot tall walls is 384 square feet, meaning that the cost to paint the room will range from $768 to $2,304. Painting the ceiling and any trim will add to the overall cost, as will any repairs.
