The Maids of Baton Rouge

Spots were missed on the kitchen floor, but great care was taken folding the paper towels into nice points. An insulin pen went missing as did a $20 bill, in a baggie sitting on the sideboard. Never, ever again for the Maids. I wouldn't let them clean the shed, let alone the house.

Things went sadly. We were home when they were here and felt truly uncomfortable while they were working. The basics were done, the problem started with a lack of attention to detail. There was a small, sticky label, probably from an apple on one of the bathroom mirrors. When it was cleaned, the paper came off the top, but the rest of the sticky mess was left on. When the kitchen floor was mopped, a few drops of mess were on the floor about 6" from the island. While it wasn't in the middle of the floor, it was plainly visible, even after they had left. Finally, and this is the reason for the F rating - after they were gone, an insulin pen, worth about $200 in street value and a small ziplock bag with a 20 dollar bill were missing. We also have opioids in the house for my husband's health condition. I guess it was a good thing we removed them from the medicine cabinet to a safe place. This was an Amazon Local deal. I gave both Amazon and The Maids the same review except for the second missing item, since it hadn't been noticed at that time. I did mention the insulin pen.

For the price, it was only high because I didn't wanna pay that much but I think for what The Maids of Baton Rouge did, it was probably a fair price. I would use them again if I had to.

Good job all around.  4 ladies on the crew.  On time.  Good to deal with.  I gave them B's all around - they probably deserved A's
but this was the only time I had used cleaning services and I had no comparison.  I will definitely use them again when needed.

It went very well. They cleaned the entire house from top to bottom.  It took them a few hours, but they were faced with a home which had not been cleaned properly for a long time.  They had a team of four maids for an almost 3000 square foot home.  They even cleaned the master bath jacuzzi jets which had not been cleaned in perhaps years.  I inspected their work afterwards very closely, and I could not find any problems.

Everything went well by the 4 person team and the cleaning service they provided.  I liked that a supervisor came in once they had completed the tasks and made sure everything was done and that I was happy with the service.

They arrived on time, but immediately walked around and said it would take more than their estimate based on my very detailed communication on condition and needs.  I told them what was acceptable since they charge $150 per hour for four ladies.  It looked much better when they left than when they got there, but it should have looked much better than it did for $450!  They left dust on the TV and spilled milk on the counter.

They did a very good job.  They are very thorough and pleasant to work with.  They show up on time and they do good work.  They are very nice and punctual.

I had a 4 person crew in my home today to clean in preparation for the Thanksgiving Holidays.   They were late arriving, but once here, they were thorough, polite, and professional.  They truly seemed to care about my satisfaction, which you don't see much these days.   I would recommend this company.   They certainly are not "cheap", but you get what you pay for these days, and I will probably call on this company again......  If you want and expect customer service and delivery on what you ask for, I believe you will be satisfied with this company.

Four women arrived and moved so slowly I knew I was in trouble. Each person had a specific job and went to their designated areas. There was no limit on the time they needed to clean but at $150 an hour I was not planning on keeping them all day. I had to request that the nonEnglish speaking lady be told to do a better job because she was very lightly going over the woodwork rather than cleaning off the dirt. By the time they had spent 21/2 hours I knew that they weren't going to be doing the real cleaning that needed to be done. They had done the surfaces and I knew I would have to do any real scrubbing. I was charged for the 3 or 4 extra minutes that they were there over the half hour! There were some distractions that stopped the ladies from working, which I did not bicker with over for their wasted time. After they left I found obvious dirt and dust that was missed. I know that I should have called the office, however my time is at a premium and I had used them because I expected professional results. They didn't even have cleaning products strong enough to remove grime.

We're very happy with this service. They do a good job with very few call backs. They are also responsive to our scheduling needs and have been easy to work with during special occasions.

They arrived before their scheduled time. They were polite. They brought their own cleaning supplies. They began cleaning. I had to leave but I had someone stay with them. They were gone before I got back home. Some of my rugs were upside down and not cleaned. The floor was not cleaned in my living room and dining room, especially the dining room. The house smelled cleaned. Their was dust still found in the master bathroom. I received a call from them the next day and I told the individual who called about the problems. I was not offered a partial refund or a refund at all but they wanted to send a manager out and I told them forget it, I'll clean the house myself. I did not want them back in my house.
