The 2nd floor toilet was an easy fix. I was pleased with the work. The 3rd floor toilet no longer produced a running sound at set intervals. Again, I was happy. Unfortunately, what I did not notice (until a week or so later) was a slow-dripping, external leak which puddled around the base of the toilet and produced a stain on the ceiling of the 2nd floor bathroom below. I would like to be fair and admit that this is because I loosened the valve to begin with. However, I did communicate this with the plumber and how I was not able to effectively tighten or loosen the connection once I had gotten beyond a certain point (the whole reason I called). Perhaps this was not properly notated, or perhaps the plumber was not careful to verify all connections were secure. I may not use this company again, but I wouldn't completely write them off. Just make sure to check all of the connections. You can never be too careful.

A few weeks after installing a new garbage disposal, my kitchen sinks would not drain. I called Sunshine Plumbing based on a recommendation from a friend in the building industry. I'd already had the most well-known drain cleaning company to come out and I paid $125 for the guy to attempt to snake the cleanout and advise me that my cast iron pipe was corroded and had a hole in it. That plumber also advised that his "well-known" company could take care of my problem by rerouting or going under the slab from inside. Either of those solutions would cost another $3000+. I was not comfortable with that analysis of my problem.
So, I called Sunsihine Plumbing who gave me a day and approximate time. The plumber called when enroute and arrived on time. Following a quick examination of my problem, the plumber provided me with a written quote based on what he needed to do. He advised that they had two sizes of snakes and a detection camera. Even the snakes appeared newer and more up-to-date than the most famous drain cleaning company's equipment. The bottom line is the plumber, Cody, (about midway through the process) was fairly convinced that it was a physical obstruction and not a a hole in the pipe. He stayed with the problem, using both snakes and the camera. He tested and retested and finally advised me that the drain was clear. Yeah! I would surely use them again and recommend them to anyone needing comprehensive drain obstruction detection and cleanout.

I've used them over the last 5 years. They are good, the owner comes out and works on our house, and even came to mother's funeral last Saturday. He's did work at my house, my grandmother's house, and my mother's house. He's very caring, concerned, and looks for potential plumbing problems in the future, and let's you know about it. His price is more reasonable than any other plumber we've had out here and he's here when he says he will be. I give him high ratings and will continue to use him in the future. I will not use anyone else unless it is an emergency, but, I wouldn't like it.
