We had problems with our gas burners in the kitchen - two burners would not come on. This was in mid-January 2014. The problem turned out to be starter module which Stanton's replaced at a cost of about $260 (parts and labor).  Now hear it is early July and the burners have gone out again.  I placed two calls to their service department for some sort of reasonable resolution.  The result was "the part has a 3 month warranty and we will not give you any help with labor to come out and put in a second starter module".  Basically, they said you are just blank out of luck.  I've been dealing with Stanton's for at least 15 years and never had such a mean spirited attitude from them - and I will never again.  There are too many companies we can take our business to.  Their line of products are good as are their prices.  But not so with their service!!!

Kenny found the problem, repaired the mechanism, then installed water/ice maker filter. Whole experience was handled professionally, from the first phone call to the final check.

They had to order the part but got it sooner than they estimated.  I was very satisfied with their promptness and overall service.

They were very personable and knowledgeable about what they were doing. They showed up when they said and got the work done when they said they would.

They were punctual, arrived when they said they would. Fixed the machine, however upon fixing the initial problem they found out that the washer had a damaged transmission. We bought a new one instead of investing in the older machine.

Minor repair on a washer/dryer and they did it quickly and efficiently. My only complaint is that they knew before coming out what the problem was and what the solution likely was but did not bring the part needed even though the dispatcher said they had it in stock and would bring it with them. So the first trip turned into a second trip and the cost escalated drastically..

We needed to replace a 25+ year electric coil cooktop with a downdraft, but we weren't sure want we wanted.  We knew we wanted to switch from a downdraft to a hood and we knew we didn't want another coil cooktop, so Terry showed us our options at the showroom.  After our initial visit on December 28th, we narrowed our choices down to gas or induction and we scheduled a techinician to come to our house on January 7th and give us an estimate on the installation of both.  There was no pressure to buy or even upgrade to a larger appliance (which we experienced at another store).
.
Larry came out on January 7th and gave us an estimate to install the cooktop ($125), reroute the downdraft ($275), and drop a gas line over the stove ($750).  They didn't have a set time for him to come out (they said he makes his own schedule each day, depending on where he has to go), but he called us 20 minutes before he showed up.  This worked for our schedules, but I'm not sure what they'd do if you needed a specific time.
.
Ultimately, we decided to go with an induction cooktop ($1450) and a fume hood ($239 - reduced from $269).  (I checked the price of the cooktop at other retailers and the price we got was $100-$150 less at Stanton's.  Very happy with the price!)
.
We scheduled Larry to install our new appliances on January 15th, but again no specific time.  He again called 20-30 minutes before arriving.

The installation went smoothly.  They charged us a little extra ($40) because they had to widen the opening in the countertop in order to fit the new cooktop.   I do have two minor complaints:
.
1) They tracked mud into the house every time they came in the door.  To their credit, it had been pouring for days and it was wet outside, but we walk in and out and don't have this problem.  We put a towel down after we saw the tracks, but it would have been nice if they had worn booties or provided a towel.
.
2) They left the electric cord and box for the cooktop hanging down in the cabinet.  I wish they had attached it to the wall, which would have made the large cabinet more usable.  Instead I have this huge cord hanging in the middle of the cabinet and I'm afraid to attach it to the wall because I don't want to void any guarantee on their work.
.
In the end, they did a beautiful job installing the hood in the cabinet above the cooktop and the new cooktop was was installed very nicely.  Overall time spent installing everything was around 3-4 hours.

I called for appointment to repair appliance.  Repairman came several times, each time bringing new and very expensive parts and never did repair the appliance.  After the 3rd service call, the repairman left the appliance running with a promise to call back the next day to see if it was working; he did not.  The next day, the kitchen floor was ruined from the running water.  After putting us off for several more weeks, the company's insurance agent came.  He had no idea what he was doing.  From talking to him and others in the company, I knew that they had already decided that they would not cover the damages.  They chalked it up to "a coincidence".  We found the evidence that we needed to prove that they were liable, but that didn't seem to matter.
We will, of course, never use this company again.

It went well once they were able to get their hands on the correct fan. All my major appliances have been bought through them and they have serviced them all. I have absolutely no problems with them whatsoever. They are a firm that services what they sell and they do a good job. They are pleasant and I don't have any problems with them whatsoever. I would recommend them.

I bought the disposal for $99 and agreed to pay $125 labor to install. I asked that they also replace the strainer in the other side of the sink and asked if I needed to purchase one. The salesman said they would have one on the truck. When the installer came he left a bill for the extra strainer which was of inferior quality and didn't work property plus an extra $50 for labor.. When I talked to the manager about this he accused me of trying to get something for nothing. I offered to pay for the strainer and half of the extra $50 charge, and he refused and said he could never do business with me again. I own 8 houses and have used them exclusively for appliances for over 25 years.

They do a very good job in repairs. They have delivered the oven and are yet to install it. I know they will do a good job in installing as well. All the appliances in my house have been bought from them. I am their long-term customer. Their service is good, and they do things when they say they are going to do. They don?t try to overcharge their customers. If they can?t fix it, they usually don?t charge at all. I would tell others that they can use them with confidence. They are not cheap but they are not very expensive either.

We called Stanton's on the Wednesday before the week of Thanksgiving. Brad, a Stanton's employee, came out on the following Friday morning. When he saw that the freezer was not plugged in, he told us that he needed it plugged in so that he could see what was wrong with it. We wrote him a check for $75 for a service charge and he said he would be back the next day, after the freezer had been running for 24 hours. Brad returned on Saturday. He saw that the fan wasn't working. He flicked it with his finger to get it working and the problem was solved. He advised us to get several bags of ice into the freezer to help it freeze quickly and to help the freezer use less energy. We were not charged anything in addition to the service charge that we paid on Friday. Brad was very polite and professional. He explained things well and seemed glad to do the job. We'll definitely turn to Stanton's in the future for repair and sales. We'll encourage our friends and family to use Stanton's also.

I would have to pay $329 at the lowest price at a retail store. I got it for $269 at Stanton Appliances Scratch and Dent Division. It just has a dent on it but it works absolutely fine. The price was the most outstanding feature. I liked their service. The guy who brought it out did a fine job. The delivery service was good. I will use them in the future.

I had my washer overflow. He took a look at it to see if it could be repaired. It was a very old unit. Since he couldn?t repair my washer, he recommended that I get a new one. He charged me $100. He said that the cost to fix the old unit would have been about the same or more than what it would be for a new one. He was really responsive. I will use him again in the future.
