We are a general contractor specializing in remodeling of residential and commercial properties. We got our start in the early 2000's by remodeling outdated homes and bringing them up to current standards and quality. Since then we have accomplished many remodeling projects in the residential and commercial markets. The work started on schedule: bathroom gutted and tiles removed (not a small feat). The shower was totally rebuilt and I marveled at the detailed perfectionism of the project. It was one of these rare occasions when you could go to sleep peacefully without worrying about a problem occurring in the process. Brian was checking every phase and detail. The workers (every single one of them) were professional and courteous, cleaning up at the end of each day. I admired the precision of David installing tiles and with everything else he did -- he is a true perfectionist to the millimeter (amazing). We used quartz counter tops and the installers were as amazing in professionalism. The project was finished on schedule and we still enjoy the final product.
This was a dream process and we will hire them back for any other renovation project we might have later.
this is an excellent contractor. Started on time, did super quality work, finished on time and was on budget. All personnel were very professional. They cleaned up after themselves daily. Also provided lots of help in choosing fixtures, flooring, paint colors, etc.
Price was fair for the quality of work they did. I would use these people again in a heartbeat.

When doing this type of project in your home, you need to feel very comfortable with the company and project team. I have complete trust in Jason Spencer and our team lead, David (who was on site every day), to deliver an exceptional product. Their attention to detail was most impressive and the work was high quality. Additionally, we made a handful of changes during the project and found Spencer easy to work with to get what we wanted. We were extremely please with Spencer Contracting and could not have asked for a better experience with the bathroom remodeling. We went from a bathroom that was 20 years old and had cultured marble countertops and a shower with mold that could not be cleaned to a clean, beautiful tile shower that looks fantastic and a newly done tub, toilet and vanity area.
We met with Jason and went over what our thoughts and initial plans were. He offered some suggestions. He came back with a reasonable quote and we did add some things to it.
We needed to remodel the bathroom for some time but since we both work we were not sure about how things would go with us not being home during the day and having people we don't know in our home. That was something we should not have worried about. David who was here most of the time was very professional and honest. He was like a family member.
They were so thoughtful with the process. We had to move upstairs for bathing, etc. but they left the old toilet in place until it was time to put in the new one so we could at least have access to that part of the bathroom.
Jason and his staff kept us updated with what was happening and let us know when decisions needed to be made. We had a lot of the bathroom planned but it needed some final things so Jason took my wife to a company who could assist with that.
All of the workmanship in the bathroom was done to our satisfaction.
Things were done on a timely basis except for my wife. At the end she could not make a decision about the mirrors so we had to wait to get that sorted out. Jason was very helpful and got prices from various mirror companies and saved us some money as well!
We would definitely use Spencer Contracting for any future remodeling projects. Our only regret is that we did not know about the company sooner.
