They mixed up the lab work and told us our dog was going to die. We went to another vet for a second opinion and was told Sherwood misdiagnosed him.

We were very pleased with the atmosphere, the staff and the veterinarian. It is very clean and the staff are professionals! The Vet checked our dog for any of the areas type of fleas/ticks etc., and gave her a shot that she never felt. It was a good experience for our dog therefore a good experience for us.

I have been using Sherwood South for about seven years. I have four dogs of my own and own a doggy day care and would bring client dogs there as well. I would have all my dogs teeth done yearly also. So with my dogs and the client dogs I was averaging about 7000.00 yearly. I have noticed a steady increase in the charges since they added the orthopedic wing. I understand passing expenses on to the customer, but when your one of the most expensive vets in town that increase becomes insane. The straw that broke the camels back was when they charged me $800.23 for an emergency visit last Sunday.This was without a diagnosis. I'm sorry we have no idea what is wrong with your dog, that will be eight hundred dollars. I'm done !!!!!!

They were very attentive to my dog and I. They seemed to genuinely care about the animals that were there. Also, had an emergency and went on a Sunday. Same very good treatment.

Excellently, Dr Fox has a way with my Elvis and I trust her judgement when it comes to his care. I trust her so much that I brought her a new patient with the same illness.

We are highly satisfied with this clinic.  It gives us peace of mind knowing that we have excellent doctors we can go to at any hour day or night.... ..  Very nice and caring doctors....

My 13 yr old dog suffered a very bad fall and could not get up. His head was shaking and eyes twitching. He has been with us his entire life, so we are quite attached. I called the vet office and the staff was very relaxed and calmed me down. They said to bring him on in and they would work him in asap. He is quite a large dog and I barely got him in my vehicle with the help of the neighbor, but when I got to the vet's office, they immediately sent 2 techs to come pick him up and bring him in for me. About 10 minutes later Dr. LaNasa, his vet for many years, came out with her assessment of the situation, probable diagnosis, prognosis and her recommendation on how to handle the situation. She was very kind and honest about how his age and overall health affected prognosis when she gave me my options. She said that with all the given factors, quality of life is not guaranteed due to his very advanced age and she would understand any decision I made regarding the steps I took next, but that she is hopeful that he is in the 50% that can recover as he is in good overall health.When my husband arrived from work, she went through it all again with him. She had pulled up estimated quotes for each option as she is very aware that I am a student (she showed misc costs so that I can look at worst case scenario price wise)Since my dog still has a fire in his belly, I wanted to give him the best fighting shot at recovery.
The first 12 hours, there was not much improvement. She called me after she gave him another exam so that I could have a full assessment. The next day is her day off and although she does rounds with the ER vets and other on staff vets, she views her patients as her responsibility. She came in on her day off to check on him and to call me with an update. I didn't expect that another vet was going to call me that evening with an update. He is showing massive improvement and should be able to come home soon. 
I've always brought my pets to Dr. LaNasa and will continue to do so. She is an amazing vet and an awesome practice full of great vets, vet techs, and ER staff. The Animal Hospital also houses specialist so that if needed, your pet can stay where they are comfortable and don't have to go to another site for treatment.

I love them. I would recommend them in a minute.

Everything went smoothly.  The veterinary care is extraordinary  Great care is taken with the treatment of your pet.  The best clinic I have ever experienced!  I highly recommend this veterinary hospital.

It went great! They work very hard to keep your appointment on time and everyone is very personable, starting with the receptionists including the techs and of course, our wonderful vet himself, Dr. Stephen Lee, and professional.  I always feel like we are the only ones in the clinic and that they are all there to give the best care ever to my pets.  I can't imagine going anywhere else!

Our pet had a very serious diagnosis which we had suspected but Sherwood was able to pin point exactly what was going on with her.  I was very impressed with the service they gave us.  Very knowledgable and compassionate staff.

This particular service went well as have all my experiences with Sherwood South Animal Hospital. I am very happy with the hospital. First and foremost, I love Dr. Lacie Lee. She specializes in feline medicine, and I really appreciate the fact that she loves cats. I feel like she "gets" my love and concern for my cats. She also works as a tag team with her husband so that if she is ever not available, a patient can talk to him as well. I really like both of them and their bedside manner and am very pleased with the efficiency and friendliness of the staff, too.

This happened on a Saturday morning and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get in to see anyone as Saturdays are so busy but they were able to accommodate me. I rated punctuality a "B" because we waited maybe 20 minutes past our appointment time to see the doctor but frankly I had no problem with this as I was happy to be able to be squeezed in on the same day and get my dog's eye checked out. I have been a client of this vet's office since August 2001 and have seen all the doctors. I would definitely recommend all of them.
