Richards Honda

I had wanted a particular brand of tire, which they said they had. But when I was there, they had the size wrong, even though I had told them my vehicle before coming. So they sold me another tire. Also, for the other tire they charged me more than the Richard's Honda web-site quoted for the exact same tire.

Waiting time is too long for an oil change. One time I had to wait around 3 to 4 hours. I didn't have much of a problem with quality.

After car shopping very carefully I went to Richard's Honda because it was near my work place and I had a bad experience elsewhere and was ready to interface with yet another dealership. I talked to a saleswoman named Jessica Mitchell and told her up front the price I wanted for the new Honda Fit Sport, the trade in value of my car, and if that wasn't acceptable I'd be on my way.
Not only was my price met unlike the four or five dealerships I had gone to before -- they actually dropped it by another $300 without me asking! On top of that they told me to take it home for the night (a common and effective sales tactic), even though I had warned them that I lived seventy miles away. Jessica still talked the sales lingo and used the same sort of rational and lines that the other dealerships had, but she and Richard's Honda took the step beyond the rest to secure my purchase.
The man who helped me with the financing paperwork work patient and took his time. Like most dealerships they offered to sell extended warranties and protections, however there wasn't any push from him -- they were just options if I had wanted them.
I don't like buying cars in person, but Richard's made it easier than most other large dealerships in Baton Rouge.

This was the last time I used them after having service there previously. The service is slow and I do not think they are honest. I initially (2003-2004) took the car in for regular servicing and , despite this, when the car was only 2 years old the entire air conditioning system "had" to be replaced.
A rip off.

They kept me there the whole day. The first day I came in, they just kept passing me and they basically manipulated me. They made me stay there the whole day. Their prices were much higher than the normal Honda, may be because they are a smaller company. When I decided that I did not want to purchase my car from them, they did continue to call my phone over and over again. They kind of harass me and I did not appreciate that. I would not recommend them. Their prices are very high and the people will get ripped off.

They are courteous. I would rate them B overall and will continue to use them.

I like them because their sales people are courteous, and upbeat, and I just like their attitude. I really trust them to do the job right. All A'S!

I worked with Jessica Mitchell. She was just superb. I went during their memorial day deal, and they provided us with hot dogs. They even kept bringing more and more water since it was so hot. I am enjoying my car. This is my second car that I've bought from them. They have provided my cars with regular maintenance like oil changes and balancing or rotating tires. It is very important for them to have return customers, and that shows. They worked well with me.

My wife bought the car in 2009 and so far we haven't any major problems with the car. We haven't seen them for any kind of work but just had oil change and grease. We had shopped around for a car and they made the best sales presentation and also had the best price. I would not tell somebody to go over there for very friendly atmosphere as far as car dealership goes. I like the product and it's the first time we had a Honda. We were looking for a smaller utility vehicle and that's the one that fit the criteria. We knew people that had Honda's and they were very dependable. It's been a good car. They were thorough. I would use them again in the future.

They have all the records for my cars and I just take it in there and tell them to do what they think is necessary, and they have always been most honest with me. I don't think that they have ever tried to sell me something that wasn't needed, which is remarkable. I have never even gone for an oil change anywhere else. People tell me that I should not take my car back to the dealership because they were going to rip me off in service, but when I mention the price for some work that Richard's Honda did, they tell me that I couldn't have got it done cheaper anywhere else.

They are great. They tell me when I am supposed to come in and they fix it. I always get second opinions from independent people and it always agrees so I know that they are not taking me for a ride. I did not spend anything on the services.

Quick, less than 30 min in the nice waiting area. Very professional treatment, and so so coffee. Sales staff, Marshall Beal is an asset. Better than expected.

They wanted my business, and met my price. They were very professional. I was in and out quickly without haggling. It took about an hour and a half. They also provided a good price on my trade in. They took everything from my old car and placed it into my new car for me too! It was a very pleasant experience. They periodically follow up through email making sure everything is ok.

I have been exceptionally pleased. They do not over charge and are good to me. They are honest and do not recommend things I do not need.
