Used Phoenx consuting for years and have had no problems with them. They were able to help me find many deductions due to my rental properties. They are professional, courteous and knowledgable.

Great services every year! Very trustworthy!

The next year I learned they were incorrect & an illegal credit was claimed that was no longer valid for my vehicle. I had to pay that $890.00 back to the IRS. There were major errors on my state taxes also I filed a claim with the BBB in Baton Rouge, but because PCG said "we did everything right", the BBB said 'OK' even though I presented a detailed list of errors. The BBB is worthless.

It was unprofessional. I presented the corrected taxes to Ms Eicher thinking there must be a mistake & they wouldn't have made so many mistakes on purpose. She put me off for so many months stating she was working on it but really wasn't. I only learned of her "resentment" when I went to her office when I was in town one day as I work out of state. I paid $900. to PCG, then $890. back to the IRS for the credit that was incorrectly taken by Phoenix Consulting Group.
Description of Work: I had them do my personal & business taxes for 2009. They took a long time, did them incorrectly, claimed a credit for my car that wasn't allowed. When I pointed it out, the owner, Meredith Eicher got "resentful" (her words) & didn't look at the corrected taxes for 6 months while I awaited her response. I had to pay the incorrect credit back to the IRS plus have had to spend SO MANY hours redoing my taxes for that year. I filed a complaint with the Baton Rouge, LA BBB & all they did was contact them about my complaint & when PCG stated they did nothing wrong, the BBB said there was nothing they could do.
