While he was persistent in getting the roof done we have had problems with our roof every since causing damage to other areas of the home. We called him several time to come back out after having to go through the Better Business Bureau. Mr. Cangelosi was rude and very upset that I contacted the better business bureau, while he did eventually send some workers back out we found out later that they only patch repaired one area. After having several companies telling me that I needed to re-roof my roof, I stepped out on faith and contacted Mr. Cangelosi again in 2011. He wanted me to pay him just to come out to look at my roof and ask that I contact the Better Business Bureau to clear up what I had reported before. That was a red flag to me. I would suggest if any one check the BBB and contact the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors. One last check as of Nov 11 there was a Cease and Desist order issued by the Board. You can also check the main site to get a list of companies and their licenses, you can also check the Secretary of State to see if a company is in good standing.

.Phil arrived early and was taking measurements for the job. After that we went inside and he gave us an estimate of approximately $16,000. He insisted on showing me 8 different photo albums of 15+ year old photos and continued to tell me all the places he had done work, 30-45 minutes worth of "I did a job on XXXX street. I've done a job on XXXX lane....." none of which were remotely relative to my job. It was almost like buying a new car where they just hang around and keep you waiting until you give in to their offer. After all this he asked me when would I like to get started. I told him that I was surprised by the cost and my wife and I would need to discuss it. He then lowered his estimate by $4,000. I don't do business this way.
