Papa Hamp's Furniture Restoration & Refinishing

My husband and I were extremely pleased with the repair and refinishing work Papa Hamp did for us. The cabinet is gorgeous. We definitely plan on bringing more pieces to Papa Hamp to repair and refinish in the future.

Did a great job at a reasonable price. Some furniture would have been too expensive to repair & he honestly informed us of the high cost but brought it back to us to see for ourselves. Vry honest man. Definitely recommend him. We will be using him again.

Papa Hamp Restoration was amazing!  They completely restored and refinished a dining room table that has been in my family for ages that is designed with beautiful and intricate carvings throughout the legs!  When I took it to them the legs of the table were barely holding on to the top and the leaves would barely stay up when we pulled them out.  The top surface had water damage and needed to be sanded down and re-stained.  
I picked up the table and it was like I had a brand new piece of furniture!  I couldn't believe it- it was gorgeous!  They completely, 100% put this table back together and its working like its practically brand new!

Excellent. However, the work was actually done by Gregory Dunbar, to whom Papa Hamp's referred me. Apparently, Papa Hamp is retired or retiring, and Mr. Dunbar formerly worked for Papa Hamp's. It look brand new and the work was very good.

I bought the "perfect" table but it was three inches too high to be a couch end table- called these guys and they came out the next day, gave a great price, and returned the table 3 days later!! It looks stunning!! Couldn't have been happier! Gregory really took the time to analyze the table so we wouldn't lose it's charm and character when cutting it down!! Will use again!

They are a little on the expensive side but the quality is good and he's very timely. They have done a good job so far. They are prompt. Generally a good experience. I recommend him.

The rocking chair restoration was outstanding - it had been sitting in a shed for several years and he brought it back to life - it looks beautiful!

The results were amazing. These mirrors are over 150 years old and were refinished in our home with incredible skill.

It came back almost brand new. I can't really say enough, he did a fabulous job! You can't appreciate it unless you'd seen it before. He really knows his business. You can tell he takes pride in his work. I would absolutely hire him again.
