lawn mower repair
 + -1 moredid not happen; could not locate a firm. pls provide answers when "no firm was found to do the work".
Description of Work: Did not find anyone to provide small engine repair at my home.

lawn mower repair
 + -1 moreI was patient, never raised my voice, and even apologized for having to call back, but the woman was very rude and angry sounding. There has been no resolution. I will have to call someone else to repair my mower after paying $300 to try and get the mower repaired. Dealing with these people was a major mistake. I would never recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: After taking my riding lawn mower apart, I was told the cost of repair was $271 but they would sell me another, better mower for $300 plus my old mower. The mower work was to have a 15 day warranty, which they agreed to extend to 30 days. I managed to mow only about 1/3 of my yard the next day in spite of a loose steering column and a flat tire (the repairs on my mower included new tires). I called and asked to have my original mower repaired and returned because it was in much better shape. After two days, he did return my mower, but when I tried the next morning to start it, the battery was dead. I called and was told that was a new battery and it would cost a $25 service charge plus parts and labor to repair the system. Not only was the warranty (of 4 days) not honored, the mower still does not run, they did not return the difference between the $300 and the $271 for repairing my mower, but wanted to charge me additional fees. In addition, they were rude and abusive.
