They did an excellent job and replaced all the lines in the house. It was a big job and from start to finish they were very thorough. I would highly recommend them and I would definitely hire them again.

They were excellent, it done very informative and on a timely fashion. They even called me when they were on their way.

Tim, the repairman, arrived within a day of my call to schedule a visit. We had hoped that the problem was a bad thermocouple but his diagnosis was that the gas valve wouldn't open. We accepted his recommendation, in light of the heaters age, to replace the heater. LM took about 2 days to get pricing together and gave us an estimate of about $1500+ all in. I felt that was higher than expected. So, I called another Angie's List "A" rated plumber Home360. They sent out Shane Hebert to estimate the work at no cost. He decided on his own to check the heater rather than just provide a cost estimate. Surprisingly, he got it working by tightenting a thermocouple wire which, for some unknown reason after 19 yrs, had worked loose. We were very happy to pay $89 for his work/visit. He also earned out business. I subsequently cancelled our LM order and complained accordingly. We have used LM in the pass and that's why we called them when the problem first surfaced. But not any longer. We still owe LM something for Tim's initial trouble-shooting visit. But at this writing, we haven't settled up with LM. I'm planning on submitting an Angie's reveiw for Home360's work.

Went good came out when called got estimate quickly and came out at my convenience to do repair

I asked for a quote though this site. Louis Mechanical Contractors called the same day and listened while I explained the problem. They scheduled for next day. The guy called to let me know he's on way. He showed up on time and it took him an hour to find out what's wrong and fixed the problem. The only thing that bother me is the service bill is a bit pricey but worth it. A week later, I received a thank you card from them. That is definitely cool because no other business ever do that before. Awesome service! :)

Very good and efficient

Job was done well. My only complaint is that I requested that a leak in the quarter-turn valves under the bathroom sink be repaired. These valves were replaced with lower-quality compression valves. Since I'd had the quarter-turn valves installed by another plumber specifically for the benefits, this was disappointing. On the whole they did a reasonable job.

Appointment set for Monday 8/27/18. Office was to call Friday to confirm. NO CALL. Monday morning we called, no reason or apology given. Appointment rescheduled for Wednesday. Office was to call Tuesday to confirm, NO CALL. My daughter is very patient; I would have told them to forget it, but she called back Wednesday to check time and was told they would not be coming. An appointment was scheduled for Thursday morning 8/30/18 at 8:00 AM. At 12:27 (time in her phone) office called to say plumber was on the way. They arrived at 12:40. About 15 inches of pipe replaced under kitchen sink. Flapper in toilet was replaced and water level adjusted. Bathroom sink was plunged to unstop. Shower faucets require another visit. Work was completed at 1:50 PM. That was one hour and ten minutes work. For the plumber and his helper, (who only went back and forth to truck for tools and that piece of pipe) the charge was $300.00 minus $20.00 for Angie's discount. My daughter called the Louis Mechanical office to complain about the two hour charge. After consultation it was decided to reduce the charge by 1/2 hour. The final charge was $212.50. Thank you Angie for the $20.00 discount.

Jack, from Louis Mechanical, arrived very early in the morning after calling me to with a heads up that he was on the way. He was VERY professional and helpful. I will definitely contact Louis Mechanical Contractors for any future plumbing issues. The price was very reasonable.

Louis Mechanical was able to send someone the same day I called for service. Two very polite and professional gentlemen were in and out in less than an hour. The plumber went over the details of my bill, explaining the work performed and breakdown of costs. It was such a pleasant surprise to be so well treated. Women are usually at the mercy of the professionals and lately, I have found that good service is hard to find in any profession. I will highly recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing services.

I am AMAZED by the professionalism of this company!! The day of my scheduled appointment, our area of south Louisiana experienced miraculous snowfall (6+ inches) and these gentlemen not only showed up, but showed up on time! They worked tirelessly, even as the snow kept coming down, and they got everything done in a neat and timely manner. On top of that, they were just really pleasant people and I will definitely be using them again. I have a new plumber, for sure!

Prompt arrival and a quick resolution to the problem.

Poorly, they had to come back twice--once to replace the part they just installed and another time to replace a part they should have replaced in the first place. The first time "they" came back the "plumber" said he had a severe headache and was very nauseated = I really don't need to care for the sick and was not pleased. I would NEVER, EVER hire these people again (although I will say that the last person they sent out-after I told them not to send out the person that came out the first two times, seemed competent--but too little too late).

A bit pricey for what was actually done, but on the hand I was also paying for someone who could accurately diagnose the cause of the problem.

Excellent! Butch was the plumber they sent and he was right on time and did a great job on all three problems. 1) Butch replaced the Kohler refill valve on the toilet which fixed the problem. He also spotted a loose bolt that was holding the toilet to the floor and fixed that as well. 2) Butch removed the old instant hot water unit and installed the new system. It was quite the challenge working in a confined space with a very tight fit and the garbage disposal unit blocking most of the access to the instant water heater. Very happy I had him do it! 3) Butch fixed both loose pipes on the outdoor shower. The existing pipes were a bit too short so he had to cut them off and add new segments of new copper pipe so everything worked right. After reattaching the pipes, soldering them in place, and turning on the water he discovered another cracked shower pipe further up towards the shower head. This had cracked during a previous freeze when I didn't drain the water out soon enough. I wasn't aware of this crack, but Butch tested the shower, found it, and fixed it as well. He spent just over 2 hours on the job and the total charge was $285. We got an itemized list of all the parts used, service charge, and labor charge. I'll definitely use them again.
