Needed to replace furnace and AC. Never followed up with a quote as expected. However service performed was excellent and very professional.

They have been absolutely amazing, very responsive and very professional. They laid down towels where they walked so they are very, very clean and respectful. They have been excellent. They were on time, very fast and did exactly what they were supposed to do. He doesn't oversell. I would recommend them to anybody. I have they out every year for a follow up. He refers me to where I can get filters. It is good to have prompt service and their prices are competitive.

Licensed to Chill has done a great job each time I have talked with them on the phone or had them do work for me. I would definitely hire them again and if I knew someone who needed any A/C or heater work done, I would feel very comfortable referring them.

They were very nice and great to work with. They were very considerate about not tracking in dirt through the house especially since it was raining and they had to work on the unit outside as well. They removed the old Freon and replaced it with the new stuff. I would definitely call them again.

From the time I called for an estimate to the final install, the job was handled professionally and at an amazingly great price. This was my third, and by far the most thorough, quote I had received. I was not oversold on things I did not need, and improvements were suggested to both protect my system and home and to make sure I was getting the end result that I wanted. The installation crew was careful to protect all areas they were working in, and the owner (who also gave me the quote), came by to check on the progress. The owner even called the next day to make sure everything was still working properly. I will definitely continue to use this company for annual service calls as well as any other projects that may come up. Definite recommend!

Our AC unit kept running out of Freon and we had a family member check it out and there ended up being holes in the coils. I called Climate Control and spoke with Kerry. He was able to give me a quote over the phone with me just giving him the part number and he told me it would not be any higher. The service man showed up on time and did great work. It was drizzling that day and he had to work on the unit outside as well as inside. He provided his own shelter and was very courteous about not tracking mud into the house. He was very friendly and answered all of our questions. I had called another AC company and they quoted me almost double but come to find out that was mainly because of the old Freon that was already in our system is not made any more and is expensive to get. The service man told me their price was much cheaper because they removed all of the old Freon in our system and replaced it with the new kind. I would recommend them and will use them again if needed.

We have used this company for the past six years for preventative maintenance on our A/C unit. They have always been very responsive and courteous. Today the A/C stopped blowing cool air. The drain pan had filled up with condensation over time and this tripped the auto shut-off sensor in the pan. No freon was needed, and the coils were not dirty. Kerry checked all parts over carefully, flushed out the line and cleaned the outside unit. He also gave us good advice regarding the type of filter to purchase and how to occasionally flush out the P-trap with Chlorox. He refused to take payment. Honest company, and they will continue to have all our future business.

My AC stopped working before I left for work in the morning. I called Climate Control and they came out that afternoon. They identified the issue right away and fixed it quickly. I have used this company for several years after a recommendation from a friend. They have always done quality work. I find them to be trustworthy. They've done many jobs for me at my former house, including installing a new furnace, cleaning my heater and AC on several different occasions, and changing out small parts to my AC. They usually come out the same day I call them. I will continue to use them for my HVAC needs.

I have used these folks for 15 years.  They do everything for me.  They check the units. They are very honest. I do not have to worry about them.  During this time they have replaced all of my units.  They have moved the units and they have rezoned much of my home.  My electrical bill has dropped dramatically.

Our 20 year old A/C system died and we called Climate Control and a few others for estimates on a replacement.  We upgraded to a high efficiency system which qualified for tax credits.  They were very responsive and communicated throughout the process.  They offered three choices for our house and scheduled the installation.  They installed the system in about 6 hours and it worked beautifully.  The only problem was that after the fact, they realized that the system they installed did not meet the standards for the tax credit (condensing unit and evaporator unit had to be government tested as a complete pair and were not).  They agreed to completly swap out the system for a qualified system at no charge.  They promptly returned and installed the qualified system along with the certificate required for the energy saving tax credit.

If there are any other A/C companies listed in the phone book, I would suggest you call anyone  EXCEPT Climate Control Heating and Air.

I told the owner of Climate Control Heating and air I wanted top of the line systems that would be resonably priced, extremely dependable, and be as quiet as possible.

I now have two builder's grade Luxaire A/C systems in my $500,000 home.  So far, one compressor has been replaced, and both system's evaporator coils have been replaced twice.   All parts were under warranty, but labor was not.

We have spent over $4000 for labor and freon replacement charges in the past 3 years since we moved in to our home.  While Luxaire does offer a labor warranty on their systems, Climate Control did not make us aware of this option at the time of purchase.

Other problems with our systems (so far):

-One outdoor compressor unit had to be re-leveled, after the unit pod sank down in on one side.

-Both return air grills are under sized and are very noisy.  We paid extra for Climate Control to design return air plenums that would be less noisy.  Instead, both are very noisy.

-Climate Control Heating and Air's response time for after the sale service calls/warranty issued was horribly slow.  All of our problems happened during the summer months, so our home was sometimes without A/C for weeks at a time.

Unfortunately, I do not have any positive things to say about this company.  I do not use Climate Control Heating and Air for my A/C service, and have instead found  that Kelly Scott Heating and Air and Marnix Heating and Air both offer excellent service.

Buyer beware.
Response from Licensed To Chill Inc
"The true reason for this disgruntled negative review is we went to court with Member and he lost. To this day we are still working with his brother (home builder) on several major projects. Member was offered several options for equipment. His educated decision was to purchase top of the line York/Luxaire. This is not builders grade as he stated. The City of Baton Rouge permit office inspected and approved our quality installation. We have no control over: Your lawn (dirt) settling. Equipment mechanical failure. Formicary corrosion. As for the rest of the accusations......UNTRUE."
