He did an excellent job and gave me a very reasonable price. Moreover, he is very professional.

I've been using Jim now for the last two times I painted my house because he is thorough, honest, picky, and cheap - quite a combination. I also use him to inspect my house once per year for caulking/painting failures. He just completed painting my home this month.

I was very pleased with Jim and his helper's work. They even did some extra protective work for us on the ceilings. Though I paid a bit more than some of the 'south of the border' offerings around here, I felt it was worth it to have a local guy who was validated by Angie's List, and I was rewarded for that decision. The work did take longer than anticipated, but that was mainly due to the awful amounts of rain we had during August. I will most certainly recommend Jim.

Was very pleased with job. Actually hired him for a second project. Comes when he says. Worked neat and cleaned up very well. Would recommend him to others.

Perfect. The price was right (not cheap but not too much) and he finished in less than two weeks. He was very professional and I would use him again. I rate him a 10.

It went very well. He met my time requirements and was prompt and courteous. It was not until I had a new floor put down did I realize how badly the walls looked. While the walls were painted as I liked, he also did not get any on my new floors either. He took the 10% off the price for me mentioning Angie's list, even though I did not remember seeing the coupon.

Jim is knowledgeable and easy to work with. He finished his work before the deadline and did an excellent job. If I ever need another paint job, I wouldn’t bother to call anyone else.

Extremely well! Jim and his painter, Jesse, were extraordinarily detail-oriented and exceptionally knowledgeable about paints and surfaces. They both offered great advice from color schemes to painting materials, which ultimately saved me more money. I was extremely pleased with the time and dedication they spent preparing to paint; the result was perfect! Overall, this was an extremely pleasant experience. I highly recommend Jim's Painting!!!

Fantastic. Jim is a great communicator. He goes through the entire job and is knowledgeable in his craft. I would use him again in the future even if I have to wait.

They did an excellent job. The cypress looks better than when the house was brand new!

Jim then made the process simple by purchasing the paint so that I did not need to make the trip to get it. The job was professionally done and he made suggestions on a couple of things that he thought would improve my satisfaction, such as painting a ceiling I had not considered and also increasing the number of coats of paint on a room. He did not charge extra for the additional coat as it was not in his original bid. Job overall was thorough and clean up was good. I would hire again.

Jim was on time and very courteous, and his bid was very competitive. 

Jim initially came to give me a quote in late December but I made a poor decision and went with another company that could start sooner. After a few days of constant problems, I fired the original painter and called Jim back. He didn't even hesitate to come out and adjust his quote. He had taken a couple other jobs in the meantime, but it was unquestionably worth the wait. The pride he takes in his work is second to none. He is extremely thorough and meticulous. That may not be what some customers want, but if you aren't looking to get the job done quickly (where the painter cuts corners/does shoddy work, trying to maximize profits without much regard to the final product), at an extremely affordable price, this is your guy. He was very communicative throughout the process (even prior to him getting started on our job) and we never had a single issue for the duration of the job (after numerous problems in only three days with the other company). He is the epitome of what a professional painter should aspire to be. The quality of his efforts have me doing whatever I can to steer other customers in his direction.
