I started this project in May of 2014. I chose this provider based on Angie's list reviews which were glowing. I liked Mr. Jesse's honesty about the fact that I could provide my own material and it would cost less. I knew this since other upholsters charge about $40 per yard for material. He took our furniture in June and said it would be ready in August. This provided lots of time to paint living room and dining room.

We did not get the finished items until last November ( the love seat was delivered as we just began a dinner party!) My friends mentioned that the cushions of the couch were too small for the couch 2-3 inch gapes. We switched around the cushions and nothing seemed to fit tightly on the couch or love seat . In addition, the stitching on the items was uneven and there were puckers in the material on the back sections of the furniture.

I think Jesse has lost his father and is overwhelmed with that, as well as having many personal issues that do not allow him to complete work on time. He has no helpers and takes on a lot of jobs.

When told about the problem he did try to correct it by replacing the cushions with slabs of foam. That gave a totally different look to the couch and not the professional " waterfall style" that was discussed when the project began. He then said he would do the love seat after the Christmas holidays. It is now February 2015 and having lived with a love seat with a waterfall edge and a couch with square foam, it is clear the waterfall edge is what is an appropriate style for the couch.

In addition when my husband sat in the couch the other night the stitching on the back rest popped apart. It is almost a year and I have given up! I told Jesse that I was picking up the foam and the additional material I had to purchased and was finished with this!

When I have the time I will be going with another company to either repair all the problems or start all over again.

Their work is good but they are very, very, very slow. They've had 2 piece of furniture since July. I just got off the phone with them and they always have a reason. I don't have any complaint with their work but you have to be patient. He is very nice and pleasant but it takes forever. I don't know if I would use them again.

They're very good. I Googled upholstery people in my area and I narrowed down, I sent him a picture of what I needed done and he gave me an estimate and told me how much it would cost and how much fabric I would need. Then he came, picked it up and then brought it back to the house too. The chair that I had reupholstered was 8 to 10 years old but it was in great shape so I went to the fabric store and bought some new heavy duty upholster fabric. He did it 2 to 3 weeks.

Mr. Jackson reupholstered six kitchen chairs for us (four chairs and two barstools). I provided the fabric. Several of the chairs had warped seats and the screws had come loose. Two of the chairs were so warped that the screws would not remain in the frame. Mr. Jackson repaired the seats. He steamed the foam so that the "crown" would puff into shape and firm up. The upholstery job is nice, tight, and sturdy. The chairs are lovely and receive lots of compliments. Mr. Jackson was very friendly and timely.
