In your search for a veterinary facility, we believe you expect high quality care as well as great service. Our goal has been to assemble a veterinary health care team committed to providing exceptional client service and veterinary health care. We have been serving the Baton Rouge community since 1979. Our full service hospital is equipped with an in house laboratory, pharmacy, surgical suite and radiology facility. We also have a boarding facility so when the need arises you can leave your pet in our loving hands. We look forward to meeting you and your pet

So I would never do this but i feel in my heart it is the right thing to do. As our friends and family know ,we dropped our 8 month old puppy Bella to get boarded, Approximately2 weeks and 1 day ago.,( that we thought was a safe place ) She died while in their care. On day 2 of our vacation we got a call that our puppy passed away because she was left ALONE while ( waiting) to get a bath and hung herself on the collar trying to figure out why the vet tech left her there.? She was left alone and not cared for when we trusted them.It is complete NEGLIGENCE, IRRESPONSIBLE and I hope to GOD this does not happen to anyone else.. IT DOESN'T MATTER, OUR BELLA WAS OUR CHILD!. LIKE ANYONE ELSES FUR BABIES ! We are HEARTBROKEN! please don't make this mistake, when we thought we could trust this place! Jeffeson Animal Hospital!!!

I called two other animal hospitals and they said they would work on him the following day. They couldn't understand that my cat was living on time but that was the best they could do. When I called this one, they walked me in in about 2 hours. They kept her overnight to clean it out and they were wonderful. They were as nice as they could be. I just loved them. The vets there went to one of the best veterinary schools around. They were friendly and very supportive. They provided a lot more service then I needed to be getting from the vet for that amount of money. They were good with my cat and she was very comfortable there.

They are a little more expensive than the others but the doctors have excellent reputation so that's fair. I would definitely use their service again.

My dog had a bad limp after tussling with another dog, and I took him over to Jefferson Animal without an appointment (although I admit I called and I'm an established patient--but I've seen them take emergencies off the street at tmes). Dr. Haase treated him immediately, did not x-ray and yet was entirely correct that it wasn't necessary, because today the dog is much better. He showed me his blood under the microscope and we worked through several issues with the dog, all in one $40 office visit. Of course the meds and flea/HW treatment made my bill HUGE but it wasn't the doctor's charges--it was what the dog needed.
