Home Buddies by Camp Bow Wow

I have 2 cats that are a pain to crate. So instead of carting them off to the vet to be boarded I figured it'd be less stressful all round to have in-house care while I was away on a business trip. Home Buddies scheduled an in-home consultation where the manager and the sitter did a home walk through and got a run down on the animals' routine. They fed and watered cats, cleaned the litter pans, put away my garage bins after trash pickup and watered my plants. Left a daily log which was fun reading, texted me daily or responded promptly to my texts. Cats seemed none the worse for wear when I returned so I was pretty happy. Will use service again.

Went very well. Received a text message with photo every day.

Natalie and Drew with Home Buddies-Baton Rouge are awesome! We were heading to Florida for six days and my neighbor that usually takes care of my animals was unavailable. I have never boarded my animals (2 dogs and 1 cat) so I started a search for in-home pet sitters. A Google search found Home Buddies by Camp Bow Wow in Baton Rouge. I contacted them by phone and set up the in-home consultation. Natalie and Drew came within a day of contacting them to meet everyone and to go over a very thorough list of items regarding the animals and the house in general (i.e. where the cleaning supplies, breaker box, and water main were). This process helped relieve my apprehensions about hiring a pet-sitter. Afterwards, they set up the days and times that they would come by, which I could access through the "reservation" link on their web site with a user name and password they provided. The reservation was very easy to access, navigate, and edit. Natalie and Drew were very clear about the cost of the services (which worked out to be about the same as boarding 3 animals for six days) and that if we should hit a snag in our travel plans to contact them and they would keep coming for as long as we needed. I highly recommend Home Buddies-Baton Rouge for in-home pet sitting!
