Tin doesn’t mince words. Quirky sense of humor, but straight shooter. I’ve used the shop many, many years. In all this time he’s only recommended only once, work that was in addition to what I brought the car in for (ie; he won’t look for things that you don’t need). Over the years he’s saved me lots of money. Some problems are hard to pin point even for the best shops, but he’s not one to replace everything & charge you for things that you don’t need, so sometimes you do have to return. I won’t go anywhere else.

I trusted the shop to do the right thing since I do not live in Baton Rouge. I do use Angies list and they looked good. After the first repair I hoped for the best. We spent close to $600. A few weeks later the car overheated again the same as it had previously (after a long trip). I expected this to be a warranty repair but was charged another $150. When I questioned the shop owner he was very rude to me over the phone. It was obvious there was no warranty and we would not get the car if we did not pay.
A few weeks later the car overheated again in the same manner as before. I did a little research and learned the radiator cap could have been the cause from the beginning. We spent $10 on a new radiator cap and that solved the problem. Based on my assessment of the work done it is obvious to me that they change parts and hope for the best. I suspect that some if not most of the work was not necessary. The radiator cap on a 10 year old car should have been the first thing to look at. There have been no problems after many long trips since the new radiator cap was installed.

Tingh has a weird sense of humor but does great work. I got my truck towed there and within a few minutes he knew what was wrong. His price was cheap and he had it finished the next day. I now take all my vehicles there for service.

I have used this company over and over. The owner is very honest about the repairs and will not do any unnecessary repair. You can tell him that you think something is wrong and he will often come back that there is nothing wrong.

I have been bringing my car to this place for 8 years. I am very satisfied with their service. The atmosphere is informal, but the service great, prices reasonable.
