Auto Service, Brakes
They are not up to their game. They did the brake pads and I had to get it redone.

Auto Service
Needed a quick oil change and figured I would try out this auto service place since it was so close to my work. Dropped off the truck and had a coworker pick me up first thing in the morning. They called me about an hour after dropping off my truck and said that I needed a rear brake job due to wearing of the pads and the typical new oil filter. They wanted to charge me around $250 for this "needed" vehicle service. My instincts told me not to trust them and I said no please just change the oil and rotate the tires. I picked up vehicle and all was fine oil changed and tires rotated.
About 3 months later my truck was again due for an oil change. This time I took it back to my usual auto shop that changed my oil for the past couple of years. I talked to the clerk at the front desk and told him to change the oil and rotate my tires. I then mentioned to him that I needed the rear brake pads changed out so if they could please take care of that for me as well. I had a coworker pick me up and was going to return at lunch to pick up my truck. I got a call from the service guy about an hour later and he asked me if something was wrong with my rear brakes that they could not see causing me to need a rear brake job. I said well last time I had my oil changed at Firestone on Seigen they said I needed the pads changed out on the rear. My truck had 80,000 miles on it at the time and the honest auto shop told me that I would not need my rear brake pads changed until about 140,000 miles and my current pads were perfectly fine, no need to change them. He said typically you will replace your front pads twice before having to replace the rear brake pads.
Furthermore, the reason I'm writing this review today a year and a half later is because I just overheard a female co-worker talking about some repairs that her car all of a sudden needed. She brought it in to (FIRESTONE on Seigen) for an oil change and to replace one tire that was worn down. She said she gets her oil changed regularly with a trusted auto shop, was aware that one of her tires was bad and additionally had her boyfriend inspect her tires to verify she did not need all 4 tires replaced. She was reassured that only one tire was worn down and needed replacement. She decided to drop off her car at Firestone for the same reason as I did because it is right by our office. Firestone called her back after she dropped off her car and said she needed $700 of repairs on her vehicle (3 new tires, air filter, an oil o-ring replaced & $75 for new wiper blades) She was caught off guard when they called and not prepared for all of the costs for these "needed" repairs. The Firestone representative reassured here the repairs were needed and not to worry about the costs because she could obtain a Firestone credit card to pay for these unexpected costs. So after I heard her telling this story I quickly I quickly chimed in and said not to trust them based on my experience in which I caught them lying to me about my replacing my brake pads.

I needed tires. My car was ready when promised. I have three vehicles and have purchased tires from Firestone many times.

The guys that do the work are very good. The front desk was a little pushy. They did good with the ball bearing work, however the alignment was messed up.
