Dr Muffler Auto Care

I am a shade tree mechanic and
do-it-yourself guy, so I rarely use auto repair companies. However,
when I do my first choice is Dr. Muffler. I replaced all the
tie-rods on my full size Chevy truck and that requires an alignment,
which is one of those things I cannot do at home. I dropped my truck
off around 8am on a Tuesday. There were several vehicles in the
parking lot and all the bays had a vehicle in it when I arrived. I
was prepared to leave my truck overnight especially after seeing the
number of cars already being worked on, but they had it ready by late
afternoon. The price was lower than the two other places I called.
I used Dr Muffler for something a few years ago and they were quick
and fair priced then. The staff have been friendly the two times I
have been there. The work is done well and quickly. I have
recommended them to others and would continue to do so until they
give me a reason not to.

I knew my truck had an exhaust leak from knowing cars and particularly my truck. I took it to another auto repair shop first, but they simply told me what I told them (i.e. that it was an exhaust leak and it was at the “Y”). That shop could not repair the leak, so I looked around for a muffler shop that was open on Saturdays and found Dr. Muffler. I took my truck to them around noon on a Saturday and told them what the problem was. Given it was noon on a Saturday, I did not expect to get by truck back until at least the next Monday, but they told they would call me with an estimate after lunch. They did call with an estimate and agreed with my diagnosis. They also told me it would be ready by 3pm, which is their Saturday closing time. At about 2:30pm they called me to say my truck was ready. I rushed over to pick it up. The leak was fixed to my satisfaction. I was pleased with their very quick
turn-around, professionalism, and quality of work. If one of cars needs something fixed that Dr.Muffler works on, it’s going to them first.
