Lousy, wrong, unfinished, subpar, etc.

My family hired Mitchell after the flood to repair their home, and a year later they still have a home that isn't close to finished. The couple of workers that did show up were very unprofessional, leaving food and drink containers around the house, which brought in pests such as rats, as well as packages of cigarettes. They would use the restroom in the home without flushing it afterwards. They'd bring their family members to work with them (including children) during the process instead of actual skilled laborers, all seemingly at the permission of Mr. Wood. Nothing has come of this contract but grief for my family. Don't hire this company.

Horrible!! There's not enough space to give every disastrous detail. This company, with Mitchell Wood as the contractor, came out in December of 2016. Mr. Wood drew up a contract to have the home redone within the budget provided. He gave a completion time frame of 4 month's. It is now into the 7th month and there are wall's up and some inside door's. That's it! He received $30,000 at the beginning of the project. He has no crew, the few people who he sent out did work that is incorrect even after doing thing's more than once. If he could ever be reached, he would say certain item's were ordered then week's would pass and random excuses were given as to why those item's were never actually ordered. He could often be confrontational or defensive when questioned about the time frame and what was or was supposed to be completed. Even after meeting with him month's ago, at his office, thing's didn't progress! He sends invoices for services and item's that have not yet taken place or been ordered. He grossly overcharged for sheet rocking the home, over $17,000!! I can't say a single positive thing about this man. He will lie to your face over and over. He wrote a contract that he has not and will not complete. I would suggest not hiring this man! If you do, you will be very sad and frustrated. That is putting it nicely! This is truly one of those contractors who will screw you over and not lose a bit of sleep over it.

I was very dissatisfied with Mitchell Wood of Century Building Services.

Mitchell Wood began work in early January 2017. We soon realized how it was going. Only 1 and or 2 men would come to our home at any one time to work. Then after 1 or 2 days would go by, no one would show for a week. That's how it has gone the whole time. The quality of work and materials used is horrible. Mitchell Wood has lied about every part of this process. I have photos, videos, and witnesses to back up my claims. I discovered that he did the same thing to another gentleman Steven Baird 9-16-2013 under a different company name of Architetnix APAC. I could go on and on about what Mitchell Wood has done to us. We are still living in a camper in our backyard. Our home sits day by day with nothing going on to fix it. The worst mistake of my life was signing a contract with Mitchell Wood of Century Building Services....
