They did really well and the staff was friendly and courteous. It costs about $100 every time I use them. They were also very willing to work with me. They are very educational and treated me like I was able to understand. This company took the time to explain.

Mr. Breaux sent out his 19 year old son and one young assistant to clean the A C ducts. When he arrived, he introduced himself as Mr. Breaux's son. I asked where the 3rd person was, and he replied that he didn't need 2 helpers because he knew what he was doing and he was good. The entire time he was there he was very rude, condescending , arrogant, and argumentative. When the appointment was scheduled, the lady on the phone was very nice and explained what they would do. Mr. Breaux's son disagreed with everything she said. When I started to say, and quot; your mother said ...and quot; He answered, and quot; my mother, you mean Stacie, she's not my mother, she works for me.and quot; She said they would clean and paint the air vents. He was trying to get me to buy new ones from him for $15 apiece and he said, and quot; everyone knows you can't paint the vents because the rust will reappear in less than 7 days.and quot; I asked, and quot; 7 daysand quot; and he said, and quot; yes, 7 days!and quot;. When I told him to paint the 2 that had rust on them, he did, but he pulled the foam gasket off all 19 vents and threw them away. His answer was that the new ones did not have the foam, so the old ones didn't need it, but what I did need was new vents. He came in with a shop vacuum to clean the duct work --- if you check on the internet, it is recommended that the company use a special vacuum system that blows the dust outside and not use a simple shop vacuum. The young man did not vacuum the return air vents and I'm not sure he vacuumed all the ducts. It's been almost 30 days and I still have dust coming from the vents. When, he got through, I asked him to vacuum under the vents (the house was empty of all furniture) and he refused. Said he couldn't vacuum the house with a shop vacuum and that he did not and quot;make all that messand quot;. I asked him a 2nd time, his answer was, and quot; I got to get a payment out of you.and quot; My answer was, and quot;No, you're not getting anything out of me.and quot; He asked, and quot; you mean you are not going to sign my paper work.and quot; I told him, and quot; no, I'm not signing anything, and you can leave.and quot; He left mumbling about me.
I called the office and complained to Mr. Breaux. He apologized for his son's attitude, but defended everything his son said and did. He told me he suspended his son for 1 day's pay, but he didn't offer me any discount for the bad experience I had endured. I told him that his son had not cleaned the return air vents and he asked me if I had asked to have the return air vents cleaned when I made the appointment. I told him they were part of the air condition system, but he said I would have had to have provided new filters and specifically asked that they be cleaned when I made the appointment. He came out and looked at the return air vents and then later that day, sent another man to vacuum them out and install my air filters. Mr. Breaux told me the return air ducts were so dirty that evidently I had been running the system without any filters --- even though he saw the filters in them. I have since changed the filters again (after 2 weeks), but am still getting dust on the counters every morning, and the company has called 2 times in less than 30 days asking for their payments.. I would never recommend them for any ac jobs!
A month later, a lady from Breaux's called and left the message that they had found out that their vacuum wasn't working and wanted me to call to reschedule the cleaning. I never called them back. I have since been turned over to a lawyer to collect his payment.

Mr. Breaux, Came out to my house and did a great job. He educated me about what was broken, and other common a/c problems issues to look out for. He resolved my issues and cost me much less than the previous A/C man who incorrectly diagnosed the problem.

Our compressor stopped working. I made an appointment for the same day, and the serviceman called me before coming over. He quickly found the problem and was able to fix it within minutes.

Mr. Breaux verified that the coil and the condenser would be compatible and gave me a price over the phone. It was slightly higher than the other bid I had gotten but Mr. Breaux assured me that the unit could be installed the next day, not a small consideration given that the outside temperature was north of 100 degrees. The unit was delivered the next morning and the technician had everything up and running by noon.
There was a slight problem a few weeks later with the conduit for the thermostat wires coming loose. I called and the technician came out the same day to correct it. I am very pleased with the performance of the new unit. It kicks on much less frequently than the old unit and keeps the house a lot more comfortable. The service was professional and performed on time.

They are awesome. They do the yearly checkup for less than $230. They also repair whatever I need for free. They fix my air conditioning unit for that same cost in case of a leak. As a result, my utility bills are half of what everybody else’s is around. They are honest too. I used to be a developer before I got sick and I had them out to install a $12000 air conditioning unit in a house that I was redoing. Then the contractor tried to charge me $15000 for something that he and I had already contracted for $12000. So Mr. Breaux was willing to stand up for the truth and that was unusual. It’s something very difficult to do with companies and to me it shows that he has value. I sent him to my girlfriend’s house and she is on social security and disability. So he went to her house and did the work for nothing and that’s the kind of person he is. I have never dealt with a company that is so honest and truthful and who stand behind what they do. Mr. Breaux looks at how your air conditioning unit is. I have had a lot of people come in and say that I needed something when I really didn’t need it and have installed the wrong parts. However, Mr. Breaux told us that if we close certain vents to the rooms during the summer time down here, then you can get certain kinds of mold that would grow up in your attic and will affect your house. He found that somebody had stayed in one of the rooms and had closed the vents. I was able to clean the mold before it became a problem for me.

Overall his company was good with follow through and successful in decreasing my utility bills since his work was completed.
