Would go lower if possible. I had several windows that needed replacing. After repeated phone calls, promised dates, not showing up, and finally being over an hour late for an agreed upon time (after I called their manager and complained again). The windows are being replaced. I hate giving harsh reviews but most people can't wait a month to get windows replaced! I simply cannot offer any level or recommendation for Big River Glass! Jeff , the service guy, indicated they had new management I hope for them it is successful.

Could have given me a warranty and it didn't last. Several panes glass and they got cloudy again.

It took two months to replace the window. All the people involved, from the lady who answers the phones, to the person in charge of the order and the installers, where friendly and professional. There were a few small communication issues, but I guess it's a busy office. I had to be proactive and call in when I had not heard from them in a while. The install was delayed a couple of times by rain, then they discovered the supplier had sent the wrong replacement pane. They had to order from a different company to get a quick delivery. But two months is too long to wait for a simple window pane replacement.

I have been going to Big River Glass for approximately two years now. They offer prompt and very reasonably priced service. The cost was very reasonable. I would recommend Big River Glass for residential, automotive or commercial needs.

They did a good job and were very nice. The only problem was that they quoted me $15 less over the phone, and did not honor that quote. But it was still less expensive than the other places I called. If you get a quote over the phone, be sure to get the name of the person you talked to, and tell them what you were quoted before they start the work.

At first all service was fine and professional. The installer came to measure and the next day I received the price list and placed the order. When the order came in, only 2 windows arrived. The third was on back order by a week. It actually took two weeks. The lady who works in the office (Chrystal) did not bother to call me to let me know about the delay. I had to call her. When it did arrive and an I stall date was scheduled, the installer came early. Not typically a problem except that the glass was for my bathroom and it was so early in the am that I had not yet been able to get dressed after sending my family off to work/school. Within a month I noticed a crack (they claim scratch) coming from underneath the top of the frame. I made another appointment for the installer to come take a look the next afternoon. He came ale in the morning while I was out running errands and left a note. Unprofessional as I was not here to look at it with him. I again had to call the office to find out what was going on with my glass. Several timesI had to do this to inquire about delivery b/c she would not return my calls in a timely manner (by timely I mean at least by closing of the following day). Finally the glass arrived and an install date was scheduled but she would have to call the day before to give me the 2 hour time frame. I did not receive that call. I called the office the morning of my install to find out that I was first on the list so should be around 8am. I quickly got dressed. 10am came around and no installer. I left a note on the door that I had to run an errand. I had waited 2 hours and the rest of my day depended on this one errand being done. While I was out, I received a call that he was there. The window is fixed and will hopefully remain that way. I will not use them again.

After reading positive reviews here on Angie's list, I decided to have
Big River Glass repair a star-shaped rock chip in my windshield. The
employees were nice, however the job was not done well at all! After
the technician had finished with his and quot;repairand quot;, there was still a large
pit in my windshield. I asked if that was supposed to be there, and he
assured me that it was. After returning home and conducting research on
this subject from other sources, I learned that chip repairs to windshields should be
flush with the rest of the windshield. Otherwise water and debris will
get in and spread the crack. The technician did not do his job properly
and gave me misinformation. I had to get another repair done to make
the chip area flush with the rest of my windshield. I'm very
dissatisfied with the repair and information from this company. I would
never recommend their services.

Big River Glass is great! However, Angie failed. She wanted the year the home was built, which is irrelevant - I don't know when their shop was built, and the purchased item wasn't for a home at all ... so I lied and said it was in the year 1600. Angie also wanted to know the zip code where the work was performed, which was the company's shop in zip 70806, but clearly Angie is assuming this is a residence and will put this data into the 70806 neighborhood. Angie needs better question-writers! I also lied by stating the information was accurate, but it's the best I could do given that Angie wouldn't let me answer correctly.

It was a small project, but they did a good job. My only hesitation in using them again is the distance from my house. They are located off Choctaw and Wooddale, and that's a long drive for me.
Otherwise, they were great.

We broke one side of our double-pane window while gardening. We called Big River Glass and they came out quickly (I don't remember how quickly, but I think it was the next day). It turned out that the window had to be made before it could be replaced. This wasn't a problem because the window was still intact on one side.
About two weeks later, they came out and replaced the window. It looks great. I can't tell any work was done. They did a good job cleaning up after, too.
Everyone was very friendly, and they did a good job of communicating throughout the repair.

Brian at Big River glass came out right away for us at our place of business to do some work on a fleet vehicle. Great guy, great price, and fast at his work.

Big River Glass did a wonderful job and was very prompt in their service. I had called 2 other window companies over several weeks that did not show up or return calls. Big River Glass gave me a specific time frame when they would do the work and even arrived early. I found Big River Glass on Angie's List after my bad experiences with the other 2 companies. Big River Glass completed the repair quickly and professionally. I will definetly use them againg and highly recommend them!

Smooth as glass! I made an appointment for the same day I called, but I happened to get free an hour earlier. I called to see if they could move it up and they were happy to oblige. I was done before my appointment time! Good work at a great price and nice people too. I saved more than $100 from the price quoted me by SafeLite.

I called Big River Glass mid-morning and the service guy, Billy, came the same day in the afternoon. He was very professional and polite. The estimate, replacement, and clean-up took less than an hour. He even fixed my blinds, which I had broken the night before when I was taping the window up. I hope that I don't have to replace any more glass, but if I do, I will call Big River Glass.

Our sliding glass door shattered when a rock hit it. We called Big River Glass and they were able to come out about 2 hours later, the SAME day! The person answering the phone was very friendly and helpful. The installation was done within an hour and looks very nice. The only negative was that all of the broken glass outside wasn't picked up as it was on the inside (hence the B for Quality). But overall everything was awesome and I would definitely call them again!

The overall job was done well.

Our landscaper accidentally broke a window pane in the front door of our home. The broken pane was a security problem
and I had to take the day off of work. I contacted Big River Glass Company first thing that morning. The employee was
very professional and kind. She fully understood my problem and the time frame we had to work with. She was able to provide us
with service that afternoon. She kept in touch with me during the day. The company's service employee arrived on time. He was very friendly and professional. The job was completed in a reasonable amount of time and the service employee cleaned up, sweeping
the broken glass. He was very informative and in fact, measured several windows in our home that need to be replaced.
The following week, I was contacted by a company representative who quoted me a price on the replacement windows throughout
our home. The material cost and labor seem fair and I plan to use this company later this year to replace a large amount of glass in
our windows. The representative was also able to scan their quote and email it to my office. In essence, this company and
its representatives are responsive to the customers request and very professional.

Called around for estimates. Big River Glass was on the low end, and had an A+ BBB rating. They gave me an appointment time and told me it would take about an hour. It actually took closer to two hours. I was given instructions to be careful for the next 24 hours. The windshield is perfect. They took care to save my inspection sticker.
