My longtime groomer left Baton Rouge and I agonized about where to take my Labradoodle. I finally settled on Best N Show and it was a great choice. It was obvious the staff genuinely cared for my dog and the grooming was done in a timely manner and she looked beautiful. I definitely recommend them for your grooming needs!

The people are very friendly and I'm sure are great with mellow animals. My yorkie is very feisty and doesn't enjoy being groomed. It was $60 to get my 5 pound yorkie groomed and it was a botch job at best. If your dog doesn't agree with getting groomed I wouldn't recommend this place.

Grooming for our miniature Schnauzer went very well. Good cut according to our wishes. Staff loves the dogs and it shows.

My puppy's first experience with a groomer did not go well. Instead of making the process enjoyable, my puppy was very scared throughout the service. I found this provider through Angie's List and could not be more pleased with the experience! The staff went slowly with my pup and introduced the grooming tools at a pace that gave the dog time to understand that she was not going to be hurt. She did great and the staff and I were excited to see her standing on the grooming table like a pro! We have begun a schedule to keep my puppy looking her best as she grows into an adult beautiful Afghan! Thank you!

believe me, my previous groomer said she had won awards but didn't have a clue how to cut poodles. Plus, my dog LOVES going see Christie, who always does a perfect job, treat us both very nicely, and ALWAYS finishes by the approximated time. I can tell she really loves dogs and her profession.

Their checkout register was not working at the time of pick up so it took longer to check out than I would have liked. I do not remember the exact cost but it was slightly less than other grooming services I have used in the BR area.

I have 2 very large labs. I typically bathe them for regular baths, but bring them in to have their undercoat removed when it comes upon shedding season. One of them doesn't stay still for more than a few seconds and the other is very old. I didn't like the idea of putting them in a cage while they are getting groomed.
When I called to make the appointment, they asked questions about age, breed, gender, fixed/intact, temperament, and requested proof of up-to-date vaccination from the vet. They asked what time to drop off/pick up, and offered a day of daycare for a small fee. I asked about what they do in the event of a dog that doesn't play well with another, and they have separate rooms to put them in to prevent any issues. They base their fee on the breed of dog/ work involved in the grooming process. They have an introductory quote that is guaranteed, then adjust based on the individual dog. I got my 2 labs groomed and undercoat removed here for less than for 1 dog to be groomed at any other place.
I dropped them off on the way to work, picked them up on the way home. They were very happy and exhausted from playing all day. The staff made sure that my dogs were freshly bathed and ready to go for when I came to pick up. (don't want a slobbery dog). My dogs were actually upset that I didn't bring them back the next day.
