weeks earlier, a pressurized pipe in the attic had broken spewing water that
leaked down two stories coming out the ceilings, light fixtures and switches.
Though the insurance adjustor had reacted quickly in giving us a check to begin
work, he also asked we supply three written estimates. He suggested a name, but
like many others, the person never returned our call. We did have a few
contractors come out, but they never left a written estimate. One finally
estimated vocally that it would be around a $20,000 dollar job or more ? far
short from the money allotted, and an estimate we felt more than a little
inflated. In complete frustration, that night we called our agent who
recommended Belfor.
The very next morning, a Friday, Judah Freeze and
Jonathan Waller came out. We were impressed with their professionalism and fair
estimate. They submitted the detailed written estimate to the adjustor, worked
out concerns with him where they thought his estimate had fallen short, were approved,
and started the job immediately. They documented, with pictures, anything they
found that had gone undetected after they removed the sheet rock and informed
our agent. They made sure the job was done right.
These are good, honest people. Jonathan is a perfectionist. Our great room never looked
so good. They are pleasant to be around and very trustworthy. We would highly
recommend Belfor and this crew to anyone.
