My husband mows the lawn, and we wanted someone to clean up in the flower beds and trim the shrubs monthly, and replace any plants on a quarterly basis. For the money we paid, we didn't get the service we expected. They spent maybe five (5) minutes pulling weeds in the garden. They would look around the yard and blow the debris off the driveway, then sit in their truck the remainder of the time they were scheduled, which was anywhere from 25 to 45 minutes. We were happy with the quality of work when they replaced our plants, however. We also had problems communicating because we only speak English.
