I called and stopped by several TV repair shops, and had absolutely no luck. When I first found Advanced Video, I couldn't find the front entrance. The door on Sherwood Blvd. is actually the back door. But the map in their window showed me to go around the building. It's a tricky parking lot, but well worth it. I went in side, the place was neat and the lady at the counter was very friendly. They charged $30 to evaluate my TV (The screen would turn blue, but nothing else). It was July 3rd, so I didn't expect a call back until the following week. I was surprised when they called two days later and told me the TV was fixed. Total cost $85.00.
When I picked it up, the owner rolled it out to my car on a dolly. Then he explained what was wrong. Electrical surge killed the memory. He had to do a "firm ware" upgrade. No parts, but time consuming. I highly recommend Advance Video for TV repair and would try them for any other type of small electronic repairs. THANKS ADVANCED VIDEO for fast, friendly, service.
