I was not ready to pay that much and was a bit shocked by the price. But they were very courteous and professional. It took just a bit longer than I expected. It seems to be working well although it seems to still hesitate at times.

Transmission just stopped shifting; checked out cost of transmission replacement on line. Checked Angie's list for reviews.
Since AAMCO cost was in line with estimates checked on internet searches, we decided to go ahead and let them do the job.
Very professional - and answered every question that we had (and my husband asks a lot of questions) and vehicle was ready when promised.
New transmission has not given us any problems at all.

I called the Chevy dealer where I do business to see if they could service my transmission. I told them what was going on and they told me that since it's already slipping, it's better to leave it alone.

So I called Aamco and explained it to them. I took my truck in to have it looked at because they said it could be something simple like low fluid or something out of place. They called the next day after looking it over and told me the transmission needed to be reconditioned. They gave me several different options. I chose the lifetime service agreement. They had it ready for me the next day. It worked great and at a great price. Thanks, Aamco!

We always go to Scott. We like him because he has always been honest with us. He will tell us what needs to be fixed and what not to worry about.
