The owner of the business came and swept the chimney himself. He was very polite, professional and respectful. He shared a good bit of wisdom about lighting a fireplace properly and how to select good firewood. We appreciated this as this is our first wood burning fireplace. He wad careful not to get any ash in the house, using a drop cloth and a special vacuum with altra-fine filters.

Our experience started by calling the number to AAA Top Hat Chimney Sweep. The lady that answered the phone was very pleasant and professional. Her name was Marilyn. She was as sweet as they come and she scheduled our appointment on a day that was convenient for us. Turns out she is married to Harold the owner of AAA Top Hat Chimney Sweep!
Harold, the owner of AAA Top Hat Chimney Sweep arrived at our home at the agreed upon time. He was dressed professionally and presented himself well. He explained to my husband and I what he was doing and why. He cleaned our fireplace, which is a gas fireplace that can also burn wood, and our chimney. Harold answered all our questions and then some. He was very knowledgable and explained things in a way we would understand. This house was new to us and we had never used a gas fireplace before.
We would highly recommend Harold at AAA Top Hat Chimney Sweep and we certainly plan on using him every year to clean our chimney and fireplace!
The price was right, the service was great and working with Harold was a pleasure.
