We both agreed that the footing had settled or crumbled causing the corner to start falling away. We discussed how it must be repoured, and how we needed to brace the roof trusses to perform the repair, etc. etc. He kept insuring me it wouldn't be expensive, he and his guys could and quot;knock it out in a dayand quot; I asked if I needed to get the materials at site, But said he would take care of it. he was going to get to it that Saturday, but called me Friday with a conflict. He had dental work done and was in pain. Hey, at least he called and rescheduled! Anyway, he called the next week to make sure everything was still a go. When he and his guys showed up, they got right to work. They braced the trusses and started disassembling the garage door frame as needed. They made quick work of tearing down the block. He even was able to save the corners to match the rest of the building. After getting down to the footer, he discovered all was well. My old and quot;cinderand quot; block that were at grade had succumbed to years of water damage and were crumbling away. He ad most of the wall up before lunch. After lunch, they finished up, rehung the door frame and even cleaned up and hauled away all the old block and mortar! In the end, the job cost less and went faster than expected -A first on this house. He could have easily said he repaired the footer. I would have believed him. He did have to fix a small section of the concrete floor that had cracked. So, I would have totally believed him if he lied about the footer. They were so fast and affordable, I had them cut out a section of my concrete driveway so I could build a planter there. They had that busted up and hauled away in minutes! It saved me hours of work and renting expensive equipment. These guys were real pros and very efficient. I recommend them whenever I can.

I called Ron's, and the man that answered took my number and said the crew would call me before they headed to my house. He assured me it would be the same day. He also said it would cost about $200 and take about 45 min to an hour. The crew called in about three hours.
I met them at my house. These guys were no and quot;Man in a Vanand quot; outfit. They pulled up in a REAL truck. the two man team was VERY professional and efficient. After assesing the situation, they told me what they were going to do, then went to work. The guys cleaned and re-cleaned my drain. They showed me how to clear the trap, and replaced my trap plug. While they were there, I had them run my sewage lines for maintainence. As this house is new to me, I was not familiar with the lines. The man was able to locate and figure out my lines. He answered all my questions, and was very helpful. After he was done cleaning out my lines, he ran the root cutter through. He explained that unlike a rooter, his root cutter was able to expand up to 8 inches to clear the line as it stepped from 4 to 6 to 8 inches along its path. A roto-rooter would just cut a 4and quot; path through the whole thing.
When it was all said and done, It took an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes and cost $225 - probably more because i had them do the extra sewage lines. The technology was very effective, the people were prompt, professional, and courteous. I will be using Ron's again if and when i need my lines cleared. A+

One box was not fused but used as a junction box . David Harshman , the electrician working with his brother Tony , removed the boxes and the attached cables than ran thru the floor into our crawl space . The remaining lines were then connected to the main panel . An existing line to a prior air conditioner that was replaced by central air was removed thereby creating more main panel space .
We went from having three separate single control units plus an apparantly full electrical panel to only the main panel that not only accommodated the three previous units but ended as well with two free units in the main panel ----all now compliant with code .All of this work was finished within one mornings work including Tony's crawl space efforts !
This work along with a similarly fine effort by Ivitts Plumbing in installing an on demand water heater in the same area of our small utility room also allowed for the removal of an existing 25 yr. old hot water tank that was within an inch or two of our electrical panel as well as removing a "mish-mash" of electrical cables and boxes !
Between these two fine firms we have removed an historical buildup of complex plumbing and electrical problems that are all too often existing in older homes (1951 in this case ) and not only posed code problems but real and possibly imminent dangerous conditions .
Kim was an absolutely exceptional agent who found our dream house and then spent a great deal of time making certain everything was move-in ready. We were in very good hands throughout the process. We recommend her to anyone who is serious about finding the right house.
