I noticed that they left a backwash kit which I assumed was complimentary. They told me they left some bags of salt.
Later they called to see how things went. I noted that they left a backwash kit. The caller indicated that this was OK.
A little later the technician came to my door and checked to see if they had left something ( I thought this was a bit strange), but I said something about the backwash kit. The technician did not indicate that I would be charged extra.
Later, I got a bill for $104.30. It said "Paid in full, thank you."
I then noticed that $104.30 had been drafted from our checking account. Fortunately, we had funds to cover this. However, we never authorized this draft, nor were we ever given notice of the additional charge before the account was drafted.
This could have caused us to overdraw our account and cost us overdraft fees had we not had sufficient funds in our account.
This practice is unprofessional. The business should always get permission from the customer before drafting the customer's account. The business should also indicate at the time of service that the customer will be charged additionally for supplies.
I noted on the Angie's List survey that I would use the service again. This is because they pretty much seem to have a monopoly in our area. However, because of this incident, I would not recommend Aqualand to anyone. We've never had a problem with the business before and are just astonished by this incident because it defies common courtesy and standard business practice.

I have a 2004 Land Rover Freelander and Richard and Andy have always been the best. They take the time to figure out the problem, find a solution and give me options on ways to have it fixed (i.e. used part vs. new, etc.) to keep costs as low as possible for me. It is hard to find someone to work on an import in this area, that actually knows what they are doing but won't rob you blind. They always give me as many options as available, discuss the pros and cons with me and help me make the best decision. I've had everything from the sunroof motor and bars realigned, new window motors put in, an intake manifold replaced, the list goes on and on. They can do everything from a simple oil change, to running diagnostics to find out "what that noise" is. Always pleasant to deal with, and great turn around time. They have never left me without my vehicle for weeks at a time, like other auto service companies in the area.

We have had some big problems and they have been very good. They don’t have any other of their same people who worked for them when we started. They are owned by Houchens now. Houchens owns most of everything in Bowling Green. I had a pipe which was leaking out, on the input to the house and I called Bowling Green Municipal Utility and they said they could not do it as it was on my land so they told me to call somebody else. We called Central Plumbing and they came right out and took care of it. There was a leak so they just had to dig it up and replace the pipe. After setting up an appointment; it took some time before David came out to clean the gutters. He never scheduled a time and date for the job. Instead he told us that he will just show up someday without warning. I don't like when somebody tells me they are just going to show up whenever! I want to be home on the day someone comes to my home to do a service I'm paying for. After a week or so pasted by; my husband called to see what happened to him and when he was going to do the gutters. He said he was sorry and has been going to the hospital to visit his sick father (OK)! Now the day comes when he is finally ready to clean the gutters. I had no idea that for $165 that he was going to drop all the gutter debris on my lawn, flower beds and where ever else it landed. I had to go around and clean up all the piles of gutter junk. To make things worse; I asked David if I gave him an extra $20 would he paint two little spots on the gutters that the painters missed. It took maybe 15 minutes of his time. I had the gutters painted black and they used to be white. So from the second floor you can see where they missed two small spots. He said OK and did it for me. I figured what's the harm if he is going to be cleaning the gutters anyway. I gave him the brush and paint and thought that will be an easy fix. Well! I could have had my 5 year old grandson do a better job. He barely applied any paint and left it all blotchy with the white paint still showing through. Plus there we're spots he didn't even paint. We had to call him back to repaint what he missed. He made a fast $20 to do nothing. I felt like I was taken advantage of and that is not good business."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/oh/hamersville/a-d--vantage-window-cleaning-reviews-2196654.htm"},"position":6}]}

Land surveying can help give clear guidance on your property boundaries for numerous situations. And in some cases, having your land surveyed is a requirement. Some common reasons to have your land surveyed include:
Planning for construction projects, like building a fence
Locating utilities, such as plumbing fixtures
Settling property line disputes
Creating subdivisions
Meeting mortgage requirements
Selling your property
Land surveying costs about $530 for the average homeowner. However, your total cost could range anywhere from $200 to $1,000 or more. Factors like the size of your property play a significant role in what you pay, but other things like the survey type and the time of year can also impact the final cost.
For example, if you’re looking for a simple boundary survey, you can expect to pay between $100 and $600. However, if you want a more in-depth survey that depicts the elevations of your hills and trees, you can expect to pay between $500 and $1,200 for a topographic survey.
A few different types of land surveys can help determine certain features and boundaries of your property. These include:
Boundary surveys describe the actual borders of a property. These are generally required when trying to get construction permits issued.
Location surveys provide much of the same information as a boundary survey but also include in-depth information about any improvements made to your property.
Mortgage location surveys are usually required by lenders and title companies before financing or offering an insurance policy.
Site-planning surveys are done before applying for building permits and can be issued before any major home improvements.
Topographic surveys provide a formal map of land elevations. It can also describe the location and size of natural features and any land improvements.
Land survey reports provide a lot of helpful information about your property and land. The exact information provided depends on the type of survey you have done, but common information that they can provide includes:
Location of utility fixtures
Clear boundaries and dimensions of your property
General topography
Land elevation information
Confirmation of easements or encroachments
Land surveys don’t technically expire. They do serve as a point of reference and a snapshot of your property, though, so as soon as you make changes to your property (and even if your neighbor makes certain changes to theirs), your existing land survey becomes inaccurate, and a new one must be done. Even if you don’t make any changes to your property, many states only guarantee the accuracy of a land survey for five to ten years.
