Fusion Electric

They were originally scheduled for Friday, and I called them and asked them if they could come out early, they did, and I was delighted. My other electrician had called and scheduled an appointment for last Saturday, I called them an hour after they were supposed to come, and I still have yet to hear from them. I thought that they worked quickly, the price was fair, and they did great work. I have had it taken down and rewired some where else before. Had i known of these guys, it would have saved me steps in the past.

2 gentlemen arrived (I have forgotten their names) and were very polite and friendly. They quickly discovered the problem with the outlets and showed me what the cause was. They removed the old microwave, had to drill new holes for the new one, and did a wonderful job. Would definitely recommend them.

Our old house comes with some challenges and I think they overcame those when hanging the exterior light. There was a piece missing and rusty bolts, etc, and they were able to come up with a solution. They also went into the attic to attempt to repair an outlet with no power and clearly explained why they weren't able to fix it and gave me an estimate to add a new oulet. I enjoyed their company when they were there. However, after they left I noticed how messy they were. I had pieces of wire and tape on my front steps. I had insulation drug all over the house from them going into the attic. I don't think I've ever had a contractor make that much of a mess and not attempt to clean it up before leaving. Like I said, I enjoyed their company and they got the job done. But the mess is what makes me not want to use them again.

The two that did the work were courteous, knowledgeable and did quality work.

Fusion did a fantastic job. Jeff was very responsive, and was very helpful. I received quotes from 4 other companies, and Jeff was the most responsive and helpful. Jeff made the process very easy by obtaining all the building permits, interfacing with the electric company (KCPL), and scheduling the inspection. Jeff even came for the inspection to make sure everything went smooth. His price was very competitive, and his service was excellent. They installed high-quality components, and their work was very neat and organized. I highly recommend Fusion Electric.

Jeff and crew did and outstanding job, they were very pleasant and professional took great care to clean up and made sure any issues were resolved. Price was reasonable and work was done in a very timely manner.

I had Jeff give me an estimate for a service upgrade from 60A to 200A a year ago and ended up not having the work done at that time. This year I called Jeff again and asked him to update his quote, of all the electricians I had bids from he was the lowest. I had Fusion do a small repair for me before and they did great work, so I gave them the job. The service upgrade went very smooth, the work was done in less than a day and the house was clean when they left. Jeff communicated the process before hand and updated me while performing the work, I really appreciated being kept in the loop. All-in-all they did a great job.

Responded very quickly, fixed the problem quickly, and didn't charge too much. We are very satisfied.

From beginning to end, the service was fantastic. Jeff, owner, was able to describe and keep us updated on what to expect during this process from the time the bid took place to the time the electrical utilities company would come back out and finish off connection on the outside of the house. Each day something was scheduled to take place, Jeff called to ensure things were completed by the parties involved. The day Fusion Electric came and completed their part, Brett and Jeremy were nothing but professional. They completed the expected job. When I was 20 min late to my home due to a work hang up, the workers started the work on the outside of the home in order to not lose time. At one point in the day, my neighbor caught Brett outside and asked if he would assist him in hooking up his DVD player. Brett patiently took the 10 min to assist my neighbor in what may seem like such a simple task for many of us. Come to find out later, the neighbor's wife passed away just a couple of days before and he wanted to view a Memorial DVD created for her. Brett and Jeremy worked continuously to get the job done. We will be using them again in the near future for additional wiring updates and referring them to friends when needed.

I was very satisfied with them. The only thing I was not happy with about this company is that they replaced flourscent light fixtures and they did not take them with or remove the debris. Other than that I was very satisfied. When he came out to do the estimate he was very helpful. He did save me at least $100 dollars in his honesty for the job.

It went very well. The guys were polite, professional and cleaned up after themselves.

Service was very professional. They responded immediately and also gave a detailed explanation of what happened and what needed to be done. Very helpful and friendly service. Overall an excellant service experience. I also discussed some addtional items when they came out about some lighting work I was thinking about. They provided helpful advice and referrals to a lighting store and we will use them again when we select some new lighting fixtures and have them do the installation work.

The guys were very punctual and polite, introducing themselves and offering a handshake. When they discovered that there would have to be extra work to install the fan, checked with me first before just going ahead and doing the work. Cleaned up their work area and provided good explanation of wall switch and controls. I was very pleased and will definitely use them again

Fusion was one of several electrical companies that I had to bid on remodeling our basement which including demolition of a wall, re-routing wires and cables, and new service lines from the breaker box to a full service bar with wall cabinets. Jeff, the owner, proposed a great solution to a problem we anticipated in running new service lines from the breaker box as the basement which was already finished out. During the course of the project, his employees were there on time, worked efficiently and professionally, were pleasant to be around with no foul language, and they cleaned up their work. Jeff was accessible to coordinate with during the project and was fair regarding the pricing of changes we made as the project progressed. Overall, I couldn't have been happier with their work or in working with them.

I discovered that a new cook-top purchased from Factory Direct Appliances needed a dedicated circuit when the installers came. They would not install it. I called Fusion Electric that day (found them on Angie's List) and they came the next morning. They arrived early, assessed what needed to be done, checked the capacity of the circuit I had and told me I didn't need a second circuit. I opted to have them install a second circuit anyway. In addition they installed the cook-top. They were professional, knew what they were doing, gave me good advice, and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. They actually charged me less than the estimate they gave. I will definitely call them when I need any electrical work. Thanks Brett and Jeff and Angie's List for a good experience.

Very professional, prompt, and courteous. He was very knowledgeable and I would recommend him. He had a good team. I used him twice for different things. The second time he put back some wires the insulation team had damaged.

I couldn't have been happier. They were great, nice, friendly, and the price was good. They actually showed up and I can't say enough good things about them.

It was a small job, and he was pretty good. He was honest and told me I could probably do it myself, but I chose not to because I didn't want to deal with it. It is a single owner. I called him on the phone and he came by and looked at it. He called me with the cost, and I told him to go ahead and do it. I never met him face to face, but he was professional over the phone. He scheduled it with the power company.

Called to alert they were on their way, early. Two young men. Both seemed to know what they were doing. Took out a big ladder to check something high outside. Didn't mind when we decided to not to correct a few things, yet. Took time to educate.

The overall experience was fine. We were a little put off by the high prices we were charged in the end. For example they charged 85 dollars just to come out which is fine. But then they charged another 20 in labor on top of that for a 2 minute job of tightening up a wire on the A/C unit. The parts seemed a little high too.

Arrived as expected for estimate, arrived as expected to do work. Cleaned up after themselves, were quick and efficient -- a rare experience with anything in construction!

Bathroom lights were flickering and exhaust fan quit operating over a period of a week. I selected Fusion Electric from Angie's List and emailed them over Memorial Day weekend. Jeff responded with suggested appointment time and estimated cost range, both of which were quite reasonable. Brett and his team showed up on schedule, quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem, cleaned up their litter and were gone in about 30 minutes. The workers were congenial, courteous and efficient, and the cost was less than the estimate given in advance.

Used them a couple of times. Very professional and on time. Good advice was given for future project, Solved problems at hand quickly.

It was so pleasant to work with Brett Young, who is one of the owners of Fusion Electric. He didn't mind that I tagged along while he worked--he explained a great deal to me as he tackled each job: I had three broken light bulbs (some fused in the sockets) because I had used other cheaper bulbs rather than floodlights. He was very knowledgeable and recommended the new green (without mercury) energy-saver floodlights. He was a walking encyclopedia of what to do, where to go for best deals, what to buy...etc. He took care of everything so quickly and efficiently. He also gave my husband and I a very reasonable bid for other upcoming work we need done--new ceiling fan installation, old ceiling light fixture replaced, three replaced hard-wired fire alarms, etc. He really was a nice young man who does his job well. I learned so much and would highly recommend this company.
