"Big shout out to Dil and Cruise for doing a splendid job . They were very courteous, patient enough to listen to my concerns and very friendly. The Job was to lift the concrete and seal the joint and cracks . Time will tell how well the seal will hold especially with colorodo weather but so far happy the result. Thank you Trasher."

"The team of Kenny, Daniel, Colt. Et Al installed 4 helical piers at the outside foundation corner and two supplemental crawlspace steel beams to stabilize the house. The work was done on time and with minimal disruption to our lives. I was quite impressed with the team's professionalism and friendliness."

"I have hired Bill and his crew twice now. One project I had both Mudjacking done and Piering on the foundation. The second project was at our new residence and it was Mudjacking only. Both times Advantage has been the lowest bid I received for the work. The work he has done has been what you would expect from mudjacking. He has shown up when he said and done what he said he would do. What more can you ask? I have read some negative reviews on this company online and from what I can tell they were trying to fix problems that were beyond the scope of mudjacking work. Bill will be honest with you about what you can expect."

Concrete Mudjacking questions, answered by experts

Most states and municipalities don’t require concrete mudjacking companies to carry a specific license, but they usually need to have a general contractor’s license, and they should be fully insured. The only exception is if the mudjacking company provides foundation repairs as well, or if it offers mudjacking for home foundations. In that case, they will typically need a foundation repair contractor’s license. You can check state requirements and then use Angi’s license lookup tool to confirm that a company is properly licensed to provide mudjacking services in your area.

Charges correlate with surface size, settlement depth, and access, often yielding significant savings over concrete replacement.

Costs range from $500 to $1,500, depending on the size and condition of the area.

Common issues with concrete that may require professional repair or resurfacing include cracks, spalling, uneven surfaces, and weather damage.

Mudjacking typically takes 24 to 72 hours (one to three days) to dry and cure completely before you can resume normal use. The exact time can vary depending on the size of the project. Because the slurry mixture contains cement, it must fully harden to ensure that added weight from walking, furniture, or vehicles won't shift the concrete slab. A professional contractor can advise you on when the surface is safe to use. For comparison, if you use polyjacking instead, the polyurethane foam can dry in just a few minutes, but it's best to wait about an hour before use.
