Ryan Electric

All of the lights in the lower part of my house were not working. Called them to come out and troubleshoot the issue. While he was troubleshooting he uncovered two can lights that were not properly installed and were a fire hazard. Discovered that the cause of the issue was the sump pump that had basically 'exploded' due to incorrect wiring. He was able to get the lights back on and then came back out once I had a new sump pump installed and replaced the can lights and added the weather proof outlet so the new sump pump could be properly plugged in. They were very professional, courteous, and had great communication. I will definitely call them for any future electrical needs I might have and will recommend them to my friends.

An electrician came out to check a light that was out and gave a quote for can light replacements. The switch for our light was bad so they replaced it with one they had on the truck. They didn't charge for the service call which was very generous of them. I would use them again.

It was great; they did super. They did what they said they were going to do. They got here when they said they were going to. They were very pleasant. They covered everything up and cleaned up the mess. They finished in a day. Overall, it was a good experience. They are dependable; we can depend on what they tell us. They do good work. They are both qualified; Pat and Matt both worked here that day. Both of them were very pleasant and very easy to get along with. They did a great job. I had no problem. Their price was good.

My experience with them was good. I think they really listened to what we wanted done. They listened to what we wanted and made recommendations. They are just conscientious and courteous. They seem like a good company.

I was extremely pleased with our service. What started out as a relatively small project, turned into a larger, more complicated service. They were clearly knowledgeable on all fronts and did a wonderful job. I have actually called them again since my initial service, and they were able to come within 2 days of my call. Everything completed as promised for a very reasonable price. Saved their number in my phone - will call again and again!

The day we were scheduled to do the work we had over a foot of snow which required a rescheduling. Communication was prompt and professional. On the day of the installation we did a walk through to cover everything I wanted done, which included a few nonstandard items that would require extra work. Everything was completed in a professional manner. We walked through to make sure everything was working like I wanted and I was told to contact them any time if I had questions about the work that was completed, or if I have any future needs. I would definitely recommend this company.

I like everything about Ryan Electric. Pat did a great job and was very easy to work with and very professional when it came to working with us on a budget. We had a budget in mind on how we wanted to get it done. He was very helpful with suggestions on what would be best and then also follow-up suggestions on how to get things done on the budget we needed to get it done on. We called and made an appointment. Pat called and gave me a heads up before they came. Matt and Pat checked everything and did the work. They were both professional and courteous. I needed more work to be done. We made an appointment for that.We were very pleased with this experience.

Pat installed a can light over tub in master bath. Installed a light in kitchen pantry along with switch. Repaired outside garage light and replaced a dimmer switch in dining room. All the work required running electrical wiring. Pat Ryan is a genuine professional and a man with true integrity. I have encountered some real s***** balls through Angies List, ones with high ratings (probably fake) but Ryan Electric is the REAL deal. The only electrician I will ever call.

I called several companies. I saw that Ryan Electric had good reviews on Angie's List and I used the coupon to get a free estimate. After reviewing what I needed to have done, Mr. Ryan suggested that the best way to reduce costs was to do "time and materials" and we scheduled the work. When he arrived he got right to work with no time wasted. He was extremely fast and efficient and mindful of my budget. He allowed my adult son to help him and explained how things worked. He was very personable and complimented my son for his help. I had a previous estimate for $2,400 for the work to be done. Because he was so fast and efficient, my cost was roughly 1/10th the quote from the other company. I was extremely happy with his work and very pleased with the price. I will recommend Mr. Ryan to family and friends and will use his services in the future for all my electrical needs.

all went well. Mr Ryan was very efficient. Mr. Ryan arrived and got to work right away and finished all work in about 3 hours. Remained very conscious of my budget while delivering a great product. Will not hesitate to call for additional kitchen upgrades in the future.

Mr. Ryun arrived on time an immediately identified the problem and had it repaired shortly. He replaced a circuit breaker and repaired a couple of outlets that he noticed were loose. His fee was what he quoted on the phone - entirely reasonable. He was pleasant and courteous and we were completely pleased.

Mr. Ryan arrived when he said he would and didn't try to sell me on anything extra. He was professional and honest. Thanks!

Ryan Electric came out on two separate occasions. There work was done efficiently and very reasonably priced. Pat Ryan went above and beyond what we had contracted him to do, with no additional charge. Pat is very polite. His son was working for him that day too. Very nice young man. I would recommend Ryan Electric, with no hesitation to my family and friends.

I had a recessed light go out in my kitchen. If changing the bulb doesn't fix it, I call a professional. I also decided to actually try to switch out a ceiling fan with a newer model....how hard could it be if there is already one there, right? Not so fast. Only 3 wires coming out the ceiling, and the new fan has 4 wires. And the colors don't match...I call a professional. I usually try to find guys near my house (Shawnee) hoping that they will respond sooner. Ryan Electric is in nearby Lenexa. Pat Ryan answered my call, even though he was up on a ladder working on another job. A quick discussion of my problems, then he suggested I text him my information (addr, phone #, etc) so that he could schedule when he was done with the current situation. He got right back to me a little later in the day. Although he was pretty booked up, we were able to schedule an appointment about a week out all via text messages. Pat arrived promptly at the scheduled time, and got right to business. He diagnosed my kitchen light problem with a new light switch installed in about 5 - 10 minutes. The ceiling fan was a bit different, as he discovered the actual wiring in the light switch was not "standard". Pat fixed the wiring in the switch box to what it was supposed to be, and then completed the rest of the fan installation. Pat also discussed some options for me if and/or when we may decide to update other rooms in the home that may also be similarly wired incorrectly. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would recommend Pat for any of your home electrical needs.

FANTASTIC! I believe we have found our new electrician. I selected Pat from the Angie's List reviews and you should too. He is very responsive, returns your calls, and does great/affordable work! Super impressed that after first job complete, he returned our call after hours to discuss "dark spot" left from another electrician's work and came out in between jobs the next business day to provide a fix before our drywall contractor was coming the next day. will be using again for additional remodeling projects we wish to complete this year.
