"Excellent. I was concerned about a couple of spots and Mel got them cleaned. It looked like new again. He was very accommodating with my schedule. I bought an Angie's List coupon for Mel's Carpet Cleaning and very glad I did!"

"We had some oil stains and hard water staining in our driveway and on our walkways. Scrubbing it all was a huge chore but Divan came and cleaned it all up for me. It looked like new cement when he was finished! I’m having him back for exterior house cleaning and windows I can’t reach. He was very professional, friendly and I’m very pleased with the results. I wish I had before and after pics. I was amazed. Thanks H2Glow!"

Small jobs welcome

Offers commercial services

I have been offering residential house cleaning services off and on over the last 10 years. Now that my children are grown and out of the house, I have a lot more free time, so I am going to expand my business. At this time, I am only cleaning evenings and weekends. I provide all of my own supplies, unless you want something specific used. I also prefer to the use vacuum at the location, if available, to avoid cross contamination. \n\nI also have cleaning experience in commercial janitorial services, primarily cleaning professional office spaces, which includes lobby, offices, restrooms and breakrooms. \n\nI have experience working for a real estate company doing move-out cleans.\n\nI prefer to stay in the Wichita area, but would travel up to 30 miles for the right job. \n\nI have a high attention to detail and strive to go the extra step in cleaning your home and work spaces. I am trust worthy and dependable.

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Generally, snow removal from a roof should occur once over six inches of snow accumulates, especially if you notice that ice dams have formed. Without ice dams, you can let the snow accumulation hit 12 inches before removing it. However, the amount of snow that is too much for your roof also depends on the sturdiness of your roof and the compactness of the snow. If your roof needs maintenance or has structural issues, it’s best not to let the snow accumulate too much for fear of collapsing.

To prep for metal roof painting, have a roof inspection conducted to determine the condition. Complete any repairs required before you paint. Remove the old paint on your metal roof, if any, remove rust and mold with a wire brush, and power wash the surface. Once the roof is clean and dry, start with a primer get painting.

Chemical herbicides will kill moss permanently. The same goes with bleach water. However, moss can start growing again once a new layer of dirt and debris is caught in your sand in paver joints. Therefore, the problem is not about killing moss permanently, but ensuring effective prevention of moss regrowth.

If you’re painting your home or monitoring a job as it’s being completed, squash the issue ASAP if you notice paint is getting onto the roof. Keeping it clean is one of the keys to extending your roof’s life.

Removing latex paint before it dries is much easier and lowers the risk of damaging your shingles (more on that below). Simply spray the spot with a hose for one to two minutes to clear away the drying paint. In general, this is a good way to remove ugly stains from your roof without using chemicals.

Leaving a significant amount of snow on your roof can be risky. Most roofs are designed to handle about 20 pounds per square foot of snow, but exceeding this limit can lead to a roof collapse. A collapse can cause severe damage to your home and belongings and poses a physical danger to anyone inside. Furthermore, heavy snow accumulation increases the risk of ice dams, which can cause leaks and water damage to your roof, attic, and interior walls.
